THE ECONOMIC AND NON-ECONOMIC MOTIVES BEHIND THE NEED FOR ACHIEVEMENT OF CAREER WOMEN

<p align="center"><em>Women with careers, and especially those who already married, are almost always in a marginal position. This research is a case study at IAIN Cirebon, using a qualitative descriptive method. This study concluded: (1) The economic motive of career women mostly claimed not to be the main thing. (2) The non-economic motives of women in careers are varied: increase experience, increase self-esteem, apply the knowledge and skills, carry out the mandate, undergo a gradually flowing career, to be free from domestic rush, supported by husband, and motivated children. (3) Causal factors to need for achievement of women’s career: the role of wife only as an additional supporter of the husband's economy, the energy, the mind, and the time are divided into domestic affairs and career, less confident, lack of support of husband and family, and work climate is less to the success of women's career.</em></p>

STUDY OF ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM THROUGH COOPERATIVE EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM, UMKM, IN GLOBALIZATION ERA IN WEST SUMATERA

The problems derives from the powerlessness and inability of communities to fulfill basic rights, the vulnerability of communities to business competition, conflict and violence, the weakness of addressing population problems, inequalities and inequities of gender, and lack of development opportunities that cause a number of areas categorized as isolated. This study discusses the empowerment of the populist economy through the empowerment program of cooperatives, UMKM in the era of globalization, especially in West Sumatra. This research is done by collecting both secondary and field data by distributing questionnaires and doing interview. The method of analysis used is regression model, in this case with the discussion of the magnitude of the coefficient of determination, simultaneous testing, partial testing and normality testing of the research data. The results of this study proves that the empowerment program of cooperatives helps the community to develop their efforts, especially in the face of globalization, especially in West Sumatra. CONTRIBUTION OF FINANCIAL INCLUSION ON HUMAN CAPITAL ESTABLISHMENT IN REAL SECTOR BUSINESS

<p align="center"><em>In an effort to promote equitable and sustainable economic growth, the government through Bank Indonesia, including sharia banking has launched an financial inclusion policy, particularly for small and medium enterprises in the real sector. There are two strategic sectors that contribute positively to the acceleration of Indonesia's economic growth, namely the agricultural sector and Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM). However, these two business sectors are still weak in the productivity of human resources, capital, and competitiveness. This study aims to examine the relationship and financial inclusion contribution to the human capital formation in the real sector. The research method used a survey to 200 respondents in five districts/cities in Cirebon region, and analyzed using statistics. The results concluded: (1) There is a relationship between financial inclusion with human capital formation; (2) Financial inclusion contributes positively to the human capital formation of UKM in the real sector. The implication is that financial inclusion policies can support national economic growth through increasing human capital productivity and helping to expand the activities of small and medium enterprises in the real sector as well as employment in Indonesia.</em></p>

ANNOUNCEMENT EFFECTS OF SUKUK IN SAUDI ARABIA: THE IMPACT ON THE MIDDLE EASTERN ISLAMIC ECONOMIC SYSTEM

<p align="center"><em>The effects of capital-raising announcements have long been used as an indicator of increased shareholder wealth (Brown & Warner, 1985). Studies on bond announcements for example, have been largely inconclusive. However, when effects are measured based on bond underlying structure – straight and convertible bonds – then the results are more conclusive (Abdul Rahim, 2012). Furthermore, issuances around crisis period are expected to result in negative market reaction as investors prefer liquidity (Fenn, 2000). Sukuk are bond-like instruments that are issued based on the Sharia guidelines and perceived to be less risky due to their risk sharing attribute. Sukuk are issued by the governments and also corporations. Sukuk can either be debt-based or equity-based. The former resembles the conventional bond and the equity-based Sukuk resembles the convertible bonds. It is interesting to ascertain the market reaction to issuance of both type of Sukuk. This study determines the wealth effects of Sukuk issuances in Saudi Arabia, around crisis period. Sukuk issues have steadily increased in Saudi Arabia and it is the second largest issuer in 2015 (Zawya, 2015). The market reaction to corporate Sukuk issuance by Saudi firms is yet to be documented and the findings of this study address this issue, especially during the crisis period when the risk aversion is high and investors prefer liquidity. The BaiPerron (2003) multiple breakpoint analysis was applied to determine the crisis period, which was between 2007 and 2010. A sample of 25 events from 18 companies, consisting primarily of debt-based Sukuk were sampled for analysis. The findings suggest that the market reacts positively and significantly to debt-based Sukuk issuance during the crisis period, contrary to the theory that postulates a negative market reaction. Though these findings seem to be unique, it is possible that it is a behavioral effect of investors requiring less liquidity premium during crisis, contrary to expectations (Chen, et al., 2007; Amihud and Mendelson, 1986).</em></p>

GOLD AND SILVER CURRENCIES IN THE GLOBAL ECONOMIC CONSTELLATION: Alternative Solutions to Monetary Crisis

<p align="center"><em>The type of currency in the form of fiat money has contributed to the high inflation and the occurrence of monetary crisis in one country. So, it is considered necessary to have an alternative solution in the form of changes in the types of currency, namely the forms of Dinar (gold) and Dirham (silver) because in these two currencies, there is a synchronization between the nominal value of the currency and the value attached to the money-making raw material (intrinsic value). Among the types of such currencies, which have been empirically and historically tested, are Dinar and Dirham.</em></p>

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF HADITHS ABOUT HONESTY AND TRUST IN ISLAMIC BUSINESS ETHICS

<p align="center"><em>Honesty and trust are two main capitals in a business. Business orientation, in general, is to gain maximum profit. While Islamic business orientation is to achieve benefit of both the world and the hereafter (falah-oriented), i.e. in the form of long-term victory in the world and the hereafter. Thus, Islamic bussiness not only emphasizes material aspect but also spiritual aspect of the shade and blessings of Allah SWT. Honesty and trust serve as very important parts of Islamic business ethics. The main references of Islamic Business Ethics are the Koran and Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. At each stage of the business process, various traditions of the Prophet emphasizing honesty and trust are found. This stage starts from the production, marketing, ijab kabul, and distribution. This paper explains the implications of hadiths about honesty and trust in Islamic business ethics.</em></p>

WAKAF TUNAI DAN PRODUKTIF PERSPEKTIF HUKUM EKONOMI ISLAM

<p align="center"><em>This paper discusses the position of cash and productive waqfs according to </em><em>fiqh (</em><em>sharia economic law</em><em>)</em><em> and is associated with Indonesia. In addition, it also discusses the development of the study of how important and cash-and-productive waqf practices in Indonesia are. In Indonesia there is already an official rule about waqf and already contained in it the arrangement of this cash waqf. Likewise has been found the assessment both legally and ilmiyah against this cash waqf. This cash and cash donation is actually an effort to develop the wakaf property to be more efficient and more useful. This study aims to be accepted and developed this cash waqf in the teachings of Islam. This study is very important in order to see its compatibility with the purpose of wakaf itself and the general purpose of Islamic law so that it can realize the social welfare of the Muslim community.</em><em></em></p>

PENGARUH MARKETING SOSIAL DAN OPTIMISME AMIL ZAKAT TERHADAP OPTIMALISASI FUNDRAISING DANA ZAKAT (Study on Amil Zakat Agency of Tangerang Selatan)

<p align="center"><em>Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam that has two dimensions at once, in addition to containing the dimension of worship, at the same time the charity has a social dimension, because zakat is one instrument that can be used to reduce the level of poverty. In essence, when Allah's word is understood (Q.S. At-Taubah: 103) zakat has a coercive nature, where zakat must be taken from the muzakki by using the existing power, of course by the competent party. For the case of Indonesia, as the largest Muslim country in the world zakat has enormous potential, yet at the same time existing legislation has not regulated how zakat can be taken by force by authorized institution or institution. The existence of zakat amil agency is very important in the effort of collecting and distributing zakat funds. Amil zalcat agencies should be an institution that can be an attraction for muzakki to want to be consistent and conscious in distributing zakat. Many factors affect the optimization of zakat fund collection, such as due to social marketing factor of amil zakat institution, hard effort or optimism of zakat institution, education factor, faith, income level, attitudes toward property, and socialization conducted by zakat amil agency, and other factors . The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of social marketing and amil zakat optimism, to the optimization of fundraising of zakat fund. The approach used in this research is quantitative approach, with causal relationship method. The number of samples used as many as 123 people in South Tangerang, with measuring tools using Likert scale to measure social marketing and optimism Amil Zakat. As for the test data analysis used in this study is multiple regression with the help of software SPSS 17. Results of data processing obtained regression value (R2) of 88.9% and 11.1% influenced by other factors, it states that there is influence significant between social marketing and amil zakat optimism towards fundraising optimization of zakat fund in South Tangerang City.</em></p>

STRATEGI MENINGKATKAN PEREKONOMIAN MASYARAKAT DAERAH KABUPATEN SELUMA PROVINSI BENGKULU MELALUI BAITUL MAL WAT TAMWIL (BMT)

<p align="center"><em>The current regional economy has not shown rapid growth. Poverty Severity Index (P2) According to BPS-Statistics of Bengkulu Province, 2005-2016 reached 1.09%, especially in rural areas of Seluma District in Bengkulu province. One of the causes of poverty in the region is the number of unemployed increases. The important role of Baitul Mal Wat Tamwil (BMT) on the economy of Bengkulu in particular rural communities gives a positive view that the development and financing of small businesses, help break the dependence on loan sharks, maintain the economic justice of the community. This study aims to determine the strategy of increasing the economy through financial institutions BMT As-Salam in the Village New Location Seluma District and develop some products that can be accessed by people around BMT As-Salam. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative that is research about data collected and expressed in the form of words and pictures, words arranged in sentence, for example sentence result of interview between researcher and informandata analysis simultant with data collecting, interpretation, and writing of research result .The results of this study is based on the results of analysis and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that the role of BMT in the economy provides guidance and funding of small businesses, helping to relinquish dependence on moneylenders, maintaining economic justice community with a uniform distribution and make the community to be able to apply sharia-based economy, whose ultimate goal in the role of BMT is to improve people's living standards and also increase economic growth in Indonesia</em></p>

ISLAMIC ECONOMICS SOCIALIZATION IN PLURAL SOCIETY

<p align="center"><em>Islamic economics socialization in plural society explains </em><em>that </em><em>the Islamic economy which is believed to be the economic solution faced today is socialized in the historical context. There are two missing links in the history of economic thought, the great gap in the dark age and the link between thought in the West and the Islamic world. On the other hand, the Islamic Economy is also superior from its comprehensive, universal and non-discriminatory teachings view-point. From the object view-point, considering that Indonesia is Muslim majority, the socialization of Islamic economics itself is relatively easier with religious sentiments approach. However, if it viewed based on the context of Indonesian-ness, the approach uses 33, 27 and 34 of the 1945 Constitution, in order to be accepted by both Muslims and non-Muslims, besides </em><em>t</em><em>he superiority of the Islamic economic concept itself that</em><em> is</em><em> rahmatanlilalamin.</em></p>

ASSESSMENT OF FIRST SHARIA HOSPITAL CERTIFICATION IN INDONESIA FACING THE GLOBAL COMPETITION

<p align="center"><em>Hospital is the most complex economic service of human life and livelihood. Unfortunately, in Indonesia , a country with Muslim population majority, there is no certainty of the implementation of sharia because there is no institution that can assess it. The purpose of this study is to obtain concrete and factual information on Sharia hospital certification by the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Council of Ulama at Sultan Agung Semarang Hospital in facing global competition. This research was conducted with ac ase study design at Sultan Agung Semarang Islamic Hospital with type B education with qualitative approach obtained through document search, facility trace and trace of attendants and patients. The results of the study showed that the certification result of assessment was mumtaz (excellent) for both sharia standard of management and sharia service standard. This is the highest appraisal attribute that can last for 5 years. This sharia certification is even the first in the world, meaning the hospital is the firstly ready hospital in the global economic competition if compared with any other hospitas that has not been certified as sharia. In addition, the certification has made this hospital to be become the hope of Muslims in Indonesia to implement its sharia principles in the field of health services.</em></p>

TAKING ADVANTAGE OF HALAL TOURISM ECONOMIC POTENTIAL FOR THE EMPOWERMENT EFL LEARNERS

It is a fact that Tanah Datar has so many economic potentials due to its tourism objects, its culture, and its cullinary tour. Unfortunately, those potensials have not been well used yet. One of the potentials that it has is its halal tourism for the foreigners, especially for those from Middle East because this area has Moslems as the majority of its population. Since English has been widely used as a means of communication in tourism world, taking advantage of halal tourism economic potential for the empowerment English Foreign Language Learners is a wise action. This paper, therefore, discussess the ways to take advantage of halal tourism economic potential for the empowerment EFL Learners. </em></p>

IMPLEMENTATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF DUAL BANKING IN INDONESIAN BANKING SYSTEM

<pre><em>The main characteristic of a bank with dual banking system is the implementation of two banking systems (conventional and sharia) side by side in serving the national economy whose implementation is regulated in various regulations. Carrying out banking transactions or general economic activities in line with Sharia principles and values, on the one hand, is seen as a development interest for the availability of access to banking services for segments of society that have not been served by banking services. This could be able to increase the mobilization of public funds as long as it has not been touched by the conventional banking system. The advantages of operational systems and sharia banking products include prioritizing the importance of morality, justice and transparency issues in the operational activities of sharia banking with a system of profit sharing and risk sharing.</em><em></em></pre>

BUYING AND SELLING OF NAJASIY IN MODERN ADVERTISING

It provides guidance in all areas of life. This not only can be deduced from the laws of Islam, but also from the sources of Islamic law itself. One type of business mentioned in the Quran is buying and selling (trading). To keep the good between the seller and the buyer doing the transaction, Islam allows both parties to bargain, as long as it happens on the basis of likes and no elements of Najasiy, that is, one adds or raises the price of a merchandise, whereas he is not willing to buy it, but aims to benefit the seller and harms the buyer, or just plays games. If viewed from the perspective of Islamic economics, of course this practice is contrary to the true teachings of Islam. Then, when viewed further, this kind of action has something in common with advertising an item to others, but whether this way in advertising is allowed or not is still a question. SHARIA COMPLIANCE ON CUSTOMERS’ DECISION TO SAVE IN SHARIAH BANK STUDY ON CUSTOMERS AT A BRANCH OFFICE OF BANK SHARIAH MANDIRI IN BATUSANGKAR

<p align="center"><em>This study aims to determine whether the compliance of sharia affects the decision of customers to save at Bank Syari'ah. The type of research used is field research. This field research is conducted by researching directly to customers to obtain the necessary data in the research. This study uses a quantitative approach to process data in the form of numbers as a tool to find information about the effect of customers’ Shariah compliance on their decisions to save at a Shariah Bank. The results of this study shows that the falling of syariah has an influence on the decision of customers to save in Bank Syariah. This is evidenced by the results of R2 test and T-test statistical results. In this study, R2 value of 0.437 was obtained. This shows that the percentage of Shariah compliance contribution to customer decision is 43.7%, while the rest is influenced by other variables not included in this research. Based on the result of T-test statistics of syariah compliance comparability was obtained by t- observed 8,727 and t-table 1,660, (df = 98) with significance level of 0. 000. because t-observed > t-table (8.727> 1.660) H00 (no effect of syariah compliance to customers” decision) is rejected and Ha (the influence of Shariah compliance on the customers” decisions) is accepted. while for is significance is less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05).</em></p>

IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK OLEH GURU KELAS PADA SEKOLAH DASAR DI-KECAMATAN LEMBAH SEGAR KOTA SAWAHLUNTO

<p><em>This study aims to determine the way of planning, how to implement, how the assessment of thematic learning by classroom teachers in elementary school in the district. Fresh Valley. City of Sawahlunto. Type of research that writer use is Etnografi research. Data collection techniques are done by triangulation, inductive data analysis and qualitative research results emphasize the meaning of the generalization. Informants in this study are primary informants and additional informants . Data collection techniques in research are observation, interview and documentation. The result of the implementation of thematic teaching by the classroom teacher at elementary school in sub-district of fresh valley of sawahlunto city is at learning planning stage. The class teacher at SD in Kecamatan Lembah Segar Kota Sawahlunto uses various ways but the same goal is by analyzing SKL, KD and Syllabus designing RPP using the thematic RPP model, and listing RPP themes and components. the implementation of Thematic learning by classroom teachers is done by classroom teachers using: tying some subjects with one theme, explaining the material with various learning methods, inviting students to be more active in learning, creating a more comfortable classroom atmosphere, delivering the material in a relaxed but assessment phase, all teachers use evaluation way for KI-1, KI-2, and KI-4 done day with assessment rubric. For the assessment of KI-3 the teacher performs the assessment by means of training per 1 lesson and for daily test is done on 1 sub theme. For the evaluation of spiritual and social attitudes using a range of SB, B, C or K values.</em></p>

HUBUNGAN ANTARA DIKLAT DAN KOMPENSASI DENGAN PENINGKATAN KINERJA GURU PADA SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI DI KOTA SOLOK

<em>Many factors have correlation with teacher’s performance, likes training and compensation. The teacher is not optimal in following training proses and compensation for teacher is not maximum yet also has effects to teacher’s performance. The teacher as spearhead of education in learning process at school, so the teacher’s quality and standard of life should be improved and developed according to the present and the future life. The research has purpose to know the correlation training and compensation with teacher’s performance at state elementary school in Solok City. The research is quantitative research with correlational approach, in collecting data on research question. The technic collecting data is close questioner. The result is analyzed by use quantitative approach and use frequency table tools also statistic test by use SPSS program. Based on the result of data analysis there is a correlation between training and compensation with teacher’s performance has meaning to correlation has found 0.654 with references to the degree of relation belonging a strong correlation, therefore the hypothesis in this research is acceptable:</em>

<p><em>The strategy of madrasah heads to increase public participation in the field of education is an important factor in determining education outcomes. The purpose of this study is: To find out the strategy of the head of the madrasah to increase public participation in the field of Education in MTs Ma'had Islamy Payakumbuh City. Knowing the factors that influence the Head of Madrasah to increase public participation in the field of Education in MTs Ma’had Islamy Payakumbuh City. This type of research is qualitative. Data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of principals, public relations officers, and teachers at MTs Ma'had Islamy Payakumbuh City. Data analysis techniques in this study use data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The research results obtained are by holding meetings and establishing relationships with parents, visits to students 'homes, correspondence, approaches through community leaders, publicity and madrasah socialization, holding madrasa exhibitions, taking student reports and parents' involvement in the process learning. The forms of community participation in the MTs Ma'had Islamy Payakumbuh City have been carried out including the participation of money and goods, labor and expertise participation, and mind participation. Factors influencing the madrasah chief's strategy in increasing community participation in MTs Ma'had Islamy Payakumbuh City are: Supporting factors which include the willingness and ability of individuals / communities, the opportunity of madrasas, high level of individual / community education, income or income from parents of students. The inhibiting factor is due to the location and access to madrasas that are quite far away, parents and the community who have their respective activities so it is difficult to take the time to attend the madrasa and lack of awareness of the surrounding environment and madrasas, services and appeals that are still limited because the lack of ability and intense communication between madrasa managers towards parents and the community.</em><em></em></p>

SUPERVISI KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP GURU MATA PELAJARAN UJIAN NASIONAL DI SMPN 2 RAMBATAN

<pre>The problem of this research is "Supervision of Principal to the National Examination Subject Teachers in SMP N 2 Rambatan". And the purpose of this recearch is to describe How Supervision of Principal to the National Examination Subject Teachers in SMP N 2 Rambatan. This research is a qualitative case study method. The main instrument of this research is the researcher himself, and the supporting instruments are a tape recorder, interview guides and other documents. To obtain the required data, the researcher used techniques include observation, documentation and the principal interviews national examination subject teachers.The results of the research based on observation, interviews and documentation, the researcher can take some conclusions as follows: (1) Planning of supervision programs of principal to develop the competence of the National Examination Subject Teacher in order to get the maximum result, (2) Implementation of supervision programs of principal to develop the competence of the National Examination Subject Teacher in order to get the maximum result, (3) Evaluation and follow-up supervision programs of principal to develop the competence of the National Examination Subject Teacher in order to get the maximum result. Based on how the overall Supervision of Principal to the national examination subject teachers is not maximized. This is evident from the evaluation and follow-up of the supervision itself did not cover all aspects of supervision.</pre>
