Sebagai ilmu yang membahas struktur kalimat, nahw mempunyai peran yang sangat penting dalam mengistimbatkan hukum-hukum dari sumber aslinya, karena perubahan posisi kata dalam sebuah kalimat mengakibatkan perubahan makna kalimat tersebut sekaligus merubah hukum yang terkandung di dalamnya. </span></em>

<p><em>Islamic law is a law originating from and being part of the Islamic religion. Caliph Umar can be said to be the pioneer of legislation in an Islamic state. He has created a new paradigm in Islamic history. The development of Islam during the Caliph Umar to expand the Islamic region had a brilliant result. With the expansion of the Islamic region, the need for community education and fostering activities also increased. It was caused by people who had just converted to Islam in various conquered areas clearly needed guidance in the practice of Islamic application. Therefore, Islamic law had also undergone development from the previous period. The source of Islamic law in the era of Umar apart from the Qur'an and Sunnah was also carried out by Ijtihad. The method in this study was a library research, by collecting, reading, and studying books that have something to do with this discussion. At first glance Umar's decisions or Ijtihad seemed to contradict the provisions of the Qur'an, but if it was examined the nature of the verses in the framework of the overall purpose of Islamic law, the ijtihad carried out by Umar Ibn Khattab did not contradict with the meaning of the verses of the law.</em></p>

<p><em>The Quran mentions the term treasure in some letters with various derevasion. The mention of the word treasure is accompanied by the procedure of acquisition or utilization. One of them is the prohibition of consuming treasure in a vanity way. As many as 36 times a word that means vanity is mentioned in the Quran, including An-</em><em> </em><em>Nisa: 29 and At-</em><em> </em><em>Taubah: 34. Using a thematic interpretation approach, explores some of the ethical messages contained in these two verses. Forbidden treasures managed by vile. Indications of vanity include the emergence of disillusionment with the parties and be classified as zalim.</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p>

<em>Orphans in Islam have a specific position in Islam as contextually religious already exists in the Letter Alma'un verses 1-7, in this context we are expected to be able to empower orphans especially to develop themselves thoroughly and specifically which leads to the development of life skills intended for self-development so that it can be useful for themselves, society and nation and religion. Methods of self-development Through education, it forms the character of children and understands their nature, the essence of their lives, the nature of community, religion and state. Seeing such conditions, the orphanage plays an important role in educating foster children in the form of safe skills to minimize the condition of children who are unable to continue their education, At-Taqwa Muhammadiyah Orphanage Nagari III Koto is one of the orphanages registered in the Social Service and the Tanah Datar district labor force with a total of 56 foster children with a total of 3 caregivers, is a valuable asset in fostering life that leads to education patterns that are oriented towards the lifeskill. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, with the focus of the discussion is the Potential and Empowerment Development Program through Life Skill Education at the orphanage At-taqwa Muhammadiyah kenagarian III koto Kec. Rambat Tanah Datar Regency.</em>

<em>Most lesbians are irrational belief in the opposite sex. They consider men to be untrustworthy and evil people. This can be obtained from a bad experience in the family, in which the father is less pleasant towards the mother and from a hostile environment. This condition fosters irrational belief of lesbians towards men. Based on these facts, this study aims to reveal how the application of rational emotive behavioral counseling in reducing the level of irrational belief of lesbians. The research method used is action research. The treatment consists of two cycles, in which one cycle consists of four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection. Especially at the implementation stage of the counseling steps used are; (a). Accessing the client's self talk, (b). Determining the client's underlying belief, (c) Agreeing on more rational belief, (d) Performing rational emotive imagery, (e). Assigning homework, (f) Positive consequence, and (g) Negative consequence. Respondents in this study amounted to 3 people who indicated lesbians. Respondents were taken based on descriptive random sampling. The results of the analysis of research data revealed that rational emotive behavioral counseling can reduce the level of irrational belief of lesbians. Based on these empirical data it can be concluded that counselors can use rational emotive behavioral counseling in reducing the level of irrational belief of lesbians, so that it is expected to reduce lesbian behavior in society.</em>

<p><em>The purpose of the research is to reveal the rights of custody of children that have not been mumajiz if there is a divorce seen from the requirements set by the ulama in Islamic law or the benefit of the child. Today's condition often happens to mothers or apostates who cause divorce, or the condition of mothers who have divorced their husbands as career women. Does it have implications for hadhanah rights for mothers or fathers? The normative qualitative approach was applied in this study. The results of the discussion of the four cases decided by the Religious Court which became the object of research gave foster rights (hadhanah) to fathers because fathers have competence in child care, such as having good moral, having competence in the science of education and social competence that is responsible and prioritizes the benefit of children from to determine the rights of mothers as child care. In this condition the father fulfills the requirements of the hadhin compared to the mother.</em></p>

<em>This research focuses on the influence of anticipation guide strategy on students' reading comprehension at the twelfth grade of MA KM Muhammadiyah Padang Panjang, 2017/2018 Academic Year. The research design was an experimental research conducted to the Science class as the participants of the research. The instrument of this research was a multiple-choice test distributed as the pre-test and post-test. As the result, the students’ reading comprehension became significantly better after being taught by the anticipation guide strategy. It is found that the pre-test average score was 42.36, and after the treatment, the post-test average score was 75.7. The result shows that the anticipation guide strategy has significant influence on the student’s reading comprehension.</em>

<em>The purposes of the study are to describe the implementation of mentoring program and religious practice, and to find out the effectiveness of the mentoring program on student religious practice. This is a mixed qualitative quantitative research. The results show that Islamic Education mentoring activities in increasing religious practice had achieved overall success, amounting to 90%. The mentoring program can achieve the objectives planned previously. The effectiveness of the mentoring program is indicated by a tcount of 7.343> 1.70 t table, with the level of significance 0.00 <0.05. From the results of the descriptive analysis, it was found that the percentage of mentoring activities was 75% and the percentage of religious practice was 83%.. It can be summarized that Mentoring activities of Islamic Religion are effectively carried out to foster student religious practice at Teaching and Education Faculty of Sriwijaya University Palembang.</em>

<em>This study aims to reveal: (1) the effect of visual media projection with Power Point on Economics learning outcomes, (2) the effect of students’ learning interest on their Economics learning outcomes, (3) the interaction between media used and learning interest students’ Economics learning outcomes in MAN 2 Batusangkar. The type of research is Quasy Experiment using factorial 2x2 design. The population was grade X students at MAN 2 Batusangkar. The sampling technique was cluster sampling; class X-2 as the experimental class and class X-5 as the control class. Data analysis techniques are descriptive analysis and inductive analysis using two-way ANOVA. The results of the study show: (1) the students taught using Visual Media Projection with Power Point have higher learning outcomes compared to those taught with Non-Projection Visual Media with Chart, (2) the students having high interest in learning gained higher Economics learning outcomes than those with low interest in learning, and (3) There is no interaction between the use of instructional media and learning interest in students’ learning outcomes in Economics. Finally, it is recommended that teachers should use computer-based learning media, such as visual media projecting Power Point effectively as an alternative to improve students’ learning outcomes.</em>

<p><em>Much research has been done on breast milk. The results are significant. But the rate of early breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding is still far from expectations. Moreover, modernization and globalization have succeeded in encouraging women to work. The term, career woman. Unfortunately, the woman forgot her nature as the only supplier of ASI. Be, many babies whose rights are not fulfilled. This study relates the ASI significance, including the legal status for women who leave ASI. This study method is literature. The author collects literature on ASI, and legal consequences for those who "intentionally" leave their breastfeeding obligations. The author reads the Qur'an as the main source of analysis. The previous research report became the validation of the main source. This study is written descriptively with the deductive method. This research produced three things. First, they are treacherous towards the mandate of Allah SWT. Second, there are three inherent statuses for mothers who refuse to breastfeed: betrayal, destruction, and debt. Third, the husband must guide his wife to prepare herself as best as possible in the face of pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding, so that the duties and mandates are realized.</em><em></em></p>

<em>Collecting zakat (divine tax) is one of the main responsibilities of amil (the collector) of zakat. In fulfilling this kind of responsibility, BAZNAS of Tanah Datar Regency has done is successfully. This study, therefore, aimed figuring out the zakat collecting growth in BAZNAS of Tanah Datar Regency during 2010-2014 periods in terms of the nominal, source, and efforts made in collecting the zakat. To achive the goals, this study employed case study. The findings showed that the numbers of zakat collected during the period increased significantly with a total of more than IDR 34.44 billions. The increase was much far above the average that could be achieved nationally. In term of source of zakat, there was extended sources from profession zakat to other sources, such as trade and services zakat. In order to support its efforts to collect zakat successfully, BAZNAS of Tanah Datar Regency made continuous efforts to increase Zakat Collecting Unit (UPZ), established marketing team, distributed marketing tools, dan conducted massive zakat socialization</em>

<p><em>This study aims to determine the extracurricular management and its contribution to the students' intelligence in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri of Sawahlunto. The method used in this research is field research with qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are by observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that extracurricular activities contribute to the formation of the characters and intelligence of the students in MTsN Sawahlunto, in which every extracurricular activity gives positive effect to the students. The students are able to show the good characters in everyday social process both at school and community.</em></p>

<em>This paper contributes a lot to the establishment of education in student learning, especially in improving students' active thinking ability. This is due to the lack of qualified sources of educators and hali is focused on educators, because the ability to manage the class become one of the characteristics of a professional teacher. Professional teachers not only have the ability to manage the class well but also skilled in organizing learners to always play an active role and able to improve achievement in learning. The main task of the teacher is to create an atmosphere in the classroom so that the interaction of teaching and learning can motivate the students to learn well and earnestly. For this reason the teacher should have the ability to do good teaching and learning interactions. One capability that is very important is the ability to manage classes. Teachers with all their abilities, students with all backgrounds and individual traits, curriculum with all its components, and materials and learning resources with all its subjects meet and chime and interact in the classroom. In fact, activities that occur in the classroom determine the outcome of an education and learning. Therefore, good classroom management is needed, effective and efficient for teaching and learning activities to run well and educational objectives can be achieved.</em>

<em>Moslems all over the world need a calendar which can be used internationally. In order to realize such a noble need, several efforts have been made by two popular approaches, namely hisab and rukyat in establishing Islamic calendar. In the context of international Islam, this trend has been followed up by efforts of uniting global Islamic calendar. This article aims at discussing advantages of uniting global Islamic calendar in terms of political issues. From the perspectives of Islamic political science (siyasah) it can be point out that the existence of global Islamic calendar will convince the world concerning with the unity and solidarity of Islamic powers. Moslems countries will arrive at shared attitudes and responses toward the development of global issues, especially those concern with Islamic political purposes.</em>

<em>In order to provide solutions concerning with physical abuses toward children, Indonesia has issued special regulation, namely UU No. 35 tahun 2014 about Perubahan (amendment) UU No. 23 Tahun 2002 about Child Protection. In line with this regulation, a study was carried out to figure out perspectives of Islamic civil law toward children’s physical abuses. This study belonged to normative yuridis through library study and employing yuridis normative analysis technique. The study showed that prohibitions against children’s physical abuses were supported by the second Islamic civil law, namely hifzhan-nafs. However, using physical punishments are tolerated for reasons which have pointed out by the law. In addition, death penalty, imprison, and fine payment are similar to Islamic civil law with minor differences in implementation.</em>

<em>So far, various performance measurements have been done by IAIN Batusangkar, for example, through Annual Working Report, which illustrates the achievement of targets that have been planned. The development of one of the performance measurements that focuses on measuring the performance of non-financial IAIN is from the consumer view-point namely the students and alumni. It is expected to be able to provide comprehensive improvement on the satisfaction of students and alumni on the quality of service that has been given IAIN, good quality of administration services, quality of service teaching and learning process and all academic processes that have been experienced. This research is a field research i.e., descriptive quantitative, that is explaining satisfaction and loyalty of the students and alumni to the quality of academic and administrative services in the transition period from State College for Islamic Studies (STAIN) to become State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Batusangkar. Based on the calculation of the students' and the alumni's satisfaction, it was found that the obtained total satisfaction was 67.96%, and 76.84%. It means that the consumers' satisfaction (in this case students' and alumni's) on the performance of IAIN Batusangkar has not satisfactory. </em>

<p><em>This study was aimed at finding out the role of managerial competence of the Principal of State Junior High School 1 Batipuh in improving the school’s quality as mandated in Minister’s Rule of National Education No. 13/2007. This study was categorized as case study of qualitative research. The sources of the data were the principal, teachers, and school employees. The data collection technique used in this research were observation, interview, and documentary study. To ensure the validity of this research, author used data triangulation of source, methods and time. The technique of data analysis was interactive model as stated by Miles and Huberman. </em><em>This study showed that the role of the Principal's managerial competencies at in improving the quality of the school has been working very well, so that it brings the significant impact on the changing of the quality of the school. As the top leader in this school, he is able to perform his functions and roles. As a manager, he is able to influence and manage the school in order to give changes to the school as guided by Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional no. 3 tahun 2007, about the standard of the Principal of school/Madrasah, in which one of the competencies that must be mastered is managerial competence. The role of managerial competence of the Head Master of the school in improving the School quality, namely in designing school plan by creating cooperative relationship with the stakeholders of the school, namely the school teachers, school staffs, school committees, parents and the community. Moreover, he leaded the school by giving encouragement or motivation to the people in that school. He created conducive culture and comfortable situation for students in learning process, developed the curriculum, and provided services to develop the learners. Those things were closely linked with the role of the Principal to manage the facilities and infrastructures of the school, school finance, and to utilize advancees in technology and to establish a relationship with the community, as well as to monitor and to evaluate the quality of the school.</em></p>

<pre><em>Students from among converts experience psychological problems because they are conducting a process of finding identity and character building. Problems experienced by converts are considered necessary to do an intervention by teachers who are in school. One technique that is deemed appropriate to shape the character of converts is through group work in counseling. The purpose of the study is to reveal the influence of group games in counseling on the formation of the character of converts. The research method used pre-experiment with the one-group pretest-posttest design. Data analysis used paired t test. The results of the study found that (1) there was an increase in the character of converts to a better direction, (2) there was a significant effect of group play in counseling on improving the character of converts.</em></pre>

<p><em>System Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is a system of computer aided catalogs in electronic or digital form that allows users to access and search the information in the form of library materials available in the library online and realtime. </em><em>This study used a quantitative approach to the descriptive type </em><em>and examined benefit Online Public Acsses Catalogue (OPAC) in STAIN Library. </em><em>The informant was consisted of users of the system taken Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) in the Library of the STAIN Batusangkar. </em><em>This research focused on student that use Online Public Acsses Catalogue (OPAC). The data analyisis of this research was related to Miles & Hubberman model (Reduction data, show data and conclusion). Data were collected through observation and interview. The results revealed that Online Public Acsses Catalogue (OPAC) gave users benefit, ease students to find all books in STAIN library fastly.</em><em> The quality of information and quality of service has a good level of satisfaction so it increases students’ satisfaction.</em></p><strong><em>Keyword: </em></strong><em>The Application of Information System, Online Public Access Catalogue, Library, State Institute of Islamic Studies, Batusangkar</em>
