<p>The success of a teacher in implementing learning depends on the insight, knowledge, understanding and level of creativity in managing teaching materials. One form of processing of subject matter is the module. A teacher is expected to develop a module that can help achieve the learning objectives. The developed modules are expected in addition to developing logic skills as well as developing students' creativity abilities. Module oriented Mind map and equipped with game Guess the word will become more interesting and can develop student's interest and creativity. One of the stages in module development is the design phase or module design stage. The purpose of this research is to design the Mind Map-oriented Biology Learning Module and completed with game Guess the word in class VIII SMP. The method used is descriptive method. The result of this research is in the form of product design of Biology Learning Module which oriented to Mind map and completed with game Guess word for class VIII student of SMP.</p>

<p>This research was motivated by students who still faced difficulties in understanding the concepts of mathematics lessons and solving math problems. The students' mathematical ability, especially the ability to think creatively and the problem solving ability of students, were still low. To overcome this situation, teachers are required to be able to choose and apply effective learning strategies. One of the solutions that is recommended here is learning with Problem Posing strategy in learning mathematics. This research was a quasi experimental research with Randomized Control Group Only Design. Samples were students of Class VII-3 as experimental class and VII-2 which were taken by using probability sampling technique, precisely simple random sampling technique. The instruments in this research were the test of creative thinking ability and the students’ problem solving test which were obtained from the final test of the two sample classes after the implementation of Problem Posing strategy in the experimental class and the conventional learning in the control class. Technique of data analysis used t-test and draw conclusion. The result showed that the students 'mathematical problem solving ability using Problem Posing strategy was better than those of conventional learning.</p>

<p>Blood transfusion is to enter blood from the donor to the recipient's circulatory system. During blood transfusions, the presence of blood that is safe from infectious diseases transmitted through blood transfusion. To ensure the safety of the blood, the UTD RSUD Rokan Hulu conducted screening tests on each donor blood with HBsAg test, anti HCV, anti TP and anti HIV. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between blood filter test results on voluntary donors with substitute donors in UTD RSUD Rokan Hulu in 2017. The type of this research is descriptive with a retrospective design, conducted in UTD RSUD Rokan Hulu with a population of all donors donating blood from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017. Univariate data were processed and analyzed which were presented in table form and bivariate data analysis was processed statistically using Chi Square test. The results showed that HBsAg was reactive at 7 voluntary donors of blood bags (1.4%) and in donors substituting 38 blood bags (1.8%). Anti HCV reactive in voluntary donors 0 blood bags (0%) and in donors substituting 0 blood bags (0%). Reactive anti-TP in voluntary donors of 10 blood bags (2.0%) and in donors substituting 35 blood bags (1.6%). Anti HIV reactive in voluntary donors 3 blood bags (0.6%) and in donors substituting 3 blood bags (0.1%). The Chi square test results showed that there was no correlation between the results of the blood screening tests at voluntary donors and substitute donors.</p>

<p><strong>Relations Leadership Style and Performance with the Work Ethic Teachers in Primary School Kota Padangpanjang.</strong> The purpose of this research was to reveal how extend the correlations of principal leadership, teachers’ work satisfaction with teachers’ work ethic at elementary schools in Padang Panjang Regency.</p><p>This research revealed: (1) Style of Principal leadership correlated with teachers’ work ethic significantly. The extended of correlation of teachers work ethic was determined by style of principal leadership as 27,1 %. (2) Teachers work satisfaction correlated with teachers’ work ethic significantly. Teachers’ work ethic was determined by teachers work satisfaction as 26,2 %. (3) The style of principal leadership and teachers work satisfaction (X2) correlated significantly with teachers’ work ethic at elementary schools in Padang Panjang Regency, and the extend teachers’ work ethic was determined by style of principal eldership and teachers’ work satisfaction as 39,5 %.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci</strong>: Gaya kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, etos kerja</p>

<p><strong><span>Contributions Supervision of Trustees Madrasah and Work Motivation to Teachers Performance MTs se-Kecamatan Sungai Tarab. </span></strong><span>On the basis preliminary field observation, the researcher noticed that the Kecamatan Sungai Tarab Islamic Junior High School Teacher’s performance was relatively low. It was presumed that the teacher’s low performance was caused by of the school supervision and low motivation of the teacher’s. This research was intended to find out the contribution of the school supervision and motivation to ward the teacher’s performance. There is hypotheses to be tested: Supervision contributed significantly toward the teacher’s performance. Research population were all teacher’s of Islamic junior high school consisting of 58 teacher’s were selected as a research sample by means of stratified random sampling technique. The result of data analyses show that The supervision of the school contributed significantly (50,9%) to ward the teacher’s performance.. It is then concluded that the supervision is important factors that may influence the performance of Kecamatan Sungai Tarab Islamic Junior High School teacher’s, yet not to ignore other factors which are not treated in this research. Based on the research findings it is recommended that the two researched factors be paid more attention in order to improve and increase the teacher’s performance. </span></p><p><span><strong>Kata Kunci : </strong>Supervisi pengawas, kinerja guru </span></p>

<pre><em>The process skills approach can be interpreted as insight inside the students that can be used in integrated thematic learning. In reality, integrated thematic learning in elementary schools has not run optimally. As a result the learning activities of students in class III of SD Negeri 06 Rawang Sulit Air is still low. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning activities in integrated thematic learning using process skills approach.The research was carried out throughClassroom Action Research (CAR). The researcher was done in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were 26 third grade students of SDN 06 Rawang Sulit Air, X Koto diatas Subdistrict, Solok Regency. Research data was obtained through observation sheets, field notes, tests, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The research finding reflects in the first cycle, student learning activities was 66.7% with a sufficient category then it was increased to 84.3 in the second cycle with good categories. Thus, the use of process skills approach can improve student learning activities.</em></pre>

<p><em>Learning achievement on Biology subject of the eleventh grade students of SMAN I Koto XI Tarusan was still low due to teachers’ dominance in learning process, and students’ lack of interest toward instructional media</em><em> used by their teachers. The use colorful puzzled picture for instructional media was expected to be able to stimulate learning activity and arouse students’ motivation and, in turns, improve students’ learning achievement. This research was therefore aimed at figuring out the effect of using colorful puzzle</em><em> for instructional media in cooperative learning, especially Number Head Together type, upon Learning achievement on Biology subject of the eleventh grade students of SMAN I Koto XI Tarusan in the academic year of 2010/2011 academic year. This research employed quasi experimental with Static Group Comparison which compares the use colorful puzzled pictures for instructional media and colorful pictures only. The population was all eleventh grade students of SMAN I Koto XI Tarusan in the academic year of 2010/2011 academic year. Sampling technique was purposive where XI IPA<sub>5</sub> and XI IPA<sub>6</sub> were chosen. <p><em>This research was aimed at: 1) explaining positive description of the roles of school principal, counselors, vice principal, administrative personnel in SMK Negeri Manado, 2) explaining positive description on guidance and counseling program in SMK Negeri Manado, and 3) explaining the relationship among school principal, counselors, vice principal, administrative personnel in carrying out guidance and counseling program SMK Negeri Manado. The method employed in this study was survey which described factors related the roles of school principal, counselors, vice principal, administrative personnel in carrying out guidance and counseling program SMK Negeri Manado. The findings showed that there was 1) positive description about the roles school principal, counselors, vice principal, administrative personnel in SMK Negeri Manado, 2) positive description about guidance and counseling program in SMK Negeri Manado, 3) positive description about the roles school principal, counselors, vice principal, administrative personnel in carrying out guidance and counseling program in SMK Negeri Manado. These imply that positive that the roles school principal, counselors, vice principal, administrative personnel has positive influence toward guidance and counseling program in SMK Negeri Manado. Consequently, the higher the roles assumed by the school principlal, the better guidance and counseling program will be and vise versa. <p><em>This study was aimed at improving the quality of learning process of Strategi</em><em> Pembelajaran</em><em> Biologi subject and in turn teachers with good pedagogic competence and teaching skill</em><em> can be realized. Learning syntax that was carried out in this subject was: (1) course orientation and pretest administration, (2) learning process employing multi-strategy (concept approach, modeling and drilling method), (3) explanation and lesson plan design exercise, and peer teaching practices based on the lesson plan. The lesson plans were assessed by using IPKG-1 and teaching practices were assessed by IPKG-2, and (4) posttest was assessed IPKG-2 to figure out the improvement on the students teaching skill. <p><strong>Contribution Leadership of Head Scholl: Professionalization of Teachers and School Climate to Teacher Work Motivation in MTsN Pasir Lawas Tanah Datar</strong>. <p><strong>Management and Environmental Islamic Education</strong>. Proceed from the assumption that life is education and education is life in the sense of education as a matter of life and living, the discourse about education is one topic that is always interesting. There are at least two reasons can be identified so as to keep up to date education to be studied. First, the need for education is crucial because it is intrinsically linked directly to the realm of life and human life. To discuss education means talking human needs. <p><strong>The purpose ofthis study to determinethe implementation of management program of the critical BKI, according tothe rules ofthe existing curriculum conceptsin MTsN panampuang with the fact that there are in the fiel das well asstudent achievementas a referencefor teachers in evaluating learning and improve student achievement MTsNpanampuang</strong>. Found some cases in which students MTsN Panampuang inhibit the learning process. The results of the interview panel of teachers and community leaders found some problems criterion mild, moderate, and severe that in habit learning objectives, such as sexual immorality, poor discipline and extracurricular school programs are rarely attended by the students. Moral character and the lower its value, and some cases of discipline such as skipping, no school extracurricular programs, as well as the difficulty of assembly of teachers in classroom management problems occur due to the number of student. The conclution is management in the Islamic Counseling MTsN Panampuang been effective because management has reached an ideal standard concept in schooll, but not efficient because it has not reached the goal of shaping the character and resolve student issues. <p><strong>Effect of competence and motivation work to teacher performance: research correlational in Elementry School State Saribu Labiah Gugus V Nagari Lubuak Jantan in district Lintau Buo Utara. </strong>Based on the first observations, it was found that the teacher’s performance is relatively low, especially in preparing teaching devices. It is presumably related to the techers’ competence and the work motivation. This study intends to reveal the magnitude of the contribution of techers’ competence and the work motivation of teachers’ performance.This research intent to know contributions of the techers’ competence and work motivation of teachers’ performance. The three hypotheses proposed are: (1) the contribution of the teachers’ competence of teachers’ performance, (2) the contribution of the work motivation of teachers’ performance, (3) contribution of techers’ competence and work motivation collectively on the performance of the teachers.The population of this study consists of 242 country elementary school teachers in Kecamatan Lintau Buo Utara. The sample of the study consists of 47 challenged people by using system makes a killing random sampling. <p><strong>Relationship Between Interpersonal Communication Teacher and Motivation Work Teacher With Teacher Performance in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Barangin Sawah Lunto</strong>. The purpose of this research is to investigate the contribution of teachers interpersonal communication (X1) and teachers working motivation (X2) with teachers performance of Madrasah Aliyah Sawahlunto City (Y).</p><p>The instrument which is used for questionaires, consist of 35 items for variable Y, 30 items for variable X1, and 26 items for variable X2. Testing of analysis requirement was performed by Liliefors. The result of analysis shows the following result: (1) the contribution of interpersonal communication to teacher’s performance is 30,5%, (2) the contribution of motivation to teacher’s performance is 10,5%, (3) the contribution of interpersonal communication an motivation variable simultaneously to the teacher’s performance is 31,5%.<strong> </strong>Conclusion of this research was interpersonal communication and motivation simultaneously has significant contribution toward teacher’s performance.</p><strong>Kata Kunci: </strong>komunikasi interpersonal, motivas kerja, dan kinerja guru
