<em>Determining the beginning of “Qamariah”that was known as “hilal” among moslem people because the order of doing fasting and breakfasting were dobe if they seeing the hilal. If they could not see the month, they had to complete (Rukyat) the on going month. It seemed that seeing the hilal was not the only one way in determining the beginning of “Qamariah”. In society, they could choose one of them that contribute to different result of determining the beginning of “Qamariah”. The happening of “Hadits”about the order to complete (Rukyat): “Berpuasalah kamu bila melihat hilal dan berbukalah kamu bila melihat hilal.” Different opinion among the moslem priests (Ulama) in Indonesia in understanding that “hadits” might forced moslem people to be in one side or the other side in doing fasting.</em>

<div><p><em>According to the real result of the various studying difficulties, which being felt by the client (student), whatever their reasons or motives are very much demand to the guider to take part in looking for the various alternatives in order to help the student resolving those cases through the learning guidance services actively. This activity is in order to create the student’s mental stability and their readiness to promote their aptitude and full participation, especially in learning process (in the class). <p><em>This qualitative research was aimed at describing the implementation Qardh and Wadiah Yad Dhamanah in the transaction of liquidity which was done by KJKS- BMT in Tanah Datar and the perpective of Islamic Economy Law toward the implementation of this transaction. The results revealed that the implementation of transaction liquidity (KJKS-BMT) in Tanah Datar Regency was conducted in two kinds of transactions Wadi’ah Yad Dhamanah and Qardh. <div><p><em>Mental revolution is a national movement that could be implemented in many areas including in the field of education. Teachers could implement this movement in order to inject students’ character. One of the strategies to actualize mental revolution in schools is using integrated Islamic teaching. Islamic teaching is not taught separately but must be implemented integratively. The use of integrative Islamic teaching is expected that students comprehend the learning content contextually. The implementation might be done using the integration of Islamic teaching to other subject matters such as civic, sport, art, language and others. It is even could be done the use of the integration of Islamic teaching to Islamic subject matters such as fiqh, aqidah akhlaq, and Quran hadits. <p><em>Islamic Education as one of the subjects in SMP N 1 Curup Rejang Lebong has a strategic role in the formation of character and personal student. Based on initial observations are students who reflect the character despicable character. This research aims to develop the contextual learning in Islamic education in SMP N 1 Curup Rejang Lebong in class VII Semester 1 through Contextual learning Valid, practical and effective. Subject or informan in this study conducted on students SMP N 1 Curup Rejang Lebong class VII. This research is the development of procedural composed of ten steps, namely: (1) identification of the problem, (2) the collection of information, (3) design prodik, (4) design validation, (5) the improvement of design, (6) the trial product , (7) the revision of the product, (8) utility testing, (9) the revision of the final stage of product, 10) mass production, in order to obtain the syllabus, teaching implementation plan, module and student worksheet valid, practical and effective. The subjects were SMP N 1 Curup Rejang Lebong. Data was collected through observation, questionnaires, and test results. Data were analyzed by percentage. The results of this study are: syllabus, teaching implementation plan, modules and Student Worksheet that has been validated by the validator is valid. Then based on the responses of students to the modules and worksheets Islamic Religious Education class VII SMP. Curup Rejang Lebong is practical.Teaching plan implementation, modules and Student Worksheet provided in the learning process is effective.</em></p><strong><em>Kewords: </em></strong><em>Learning Instruction, Contextual Teaching Learning, Islamic Education</em>

<p><em>Pesantren (Boarding School) have special characteristics in learning compared to other educational institutions, there is a boarding house to stay students. Nowadays the boarding life has less attention from stakeholders in the boarding school, it is seen from the boarding school’s atmosphere, such cleanliness which would cause various diseases for students. In this study, the researcher examined how is the school’s understanding to the cleanliness, however the classic books gave clear attention such fiqh thaharah (ablutions/sanitation). This study also predicted the way of traditional boarding school salafiah which represented by Pondok Pesantren Nurul Yaqin Ringan-Ringan in applying the hygiene of daily life.</em></p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> Boarding School, Boarding House, School’s Atmosphere, Cleanliness.</em>

<p><em>There are three sides of the media business today, such as media content providers, audiences as consumers of content, and advertisers as ‘consumers’ other media users. All three are complementary and influence each other, although in many ways, most audiences are often sacrificed in terms of interest. When an issue arises, the media are often considered a factor called ‘news value’ that will attract audiences to consume and then attract advertisers to enter. At other times, the ideology of media also often affect how the news was created, directed, and then deployed.</em><strong> </strong><em>In the case of reported of corruption cases involving officials of political parties in Indonesia of 2014 election, which is affecting Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq (PKS), Ratu Atut Choisyah (Golkar), and Anas Urbaningrum (Demokrat), two major media in Indonesia, Kompas and Republika presented the news in a different way. It is strongly associated with the ideology of each medium. Media ideology are then distinguish the discourse developed Kompas and Republika in reporting cases of the party officials. Results of analysis using Foucault discourse analysis showed that both the national media show a particular discourse in accordance with ideology, and on the other hand also do marginalization of certain discourses are supposed to be there. For example, the discourse of corruption as an extraordinary crime, it is not displayed, enclosed by political discourse and religious identity of each alleged case of corruption.</em></p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong><em>: Discourse, Religion Identity, Politics, Media Ideology </em>

<div><p><em>This study was addressed to explore types of questions and its frequency used by EFL teacher in the classroom during the teaching processes through analyzing the transcripts of the videotaped instructions. Another special emphasis is put on investigating the length of the students’ utterances in responding the teacher questions. The participants were 29 Grade-eleven students and </em><em> an English</em><em> teacher. The results showed that rhetorical, procedural, closed, open, display, and referential questions were found, and it was more focused on the last four types</em><em> of questions</em><em>. However, display questions are more than twice as much as referential one, 50.8% compared to 14.6% occurrences, and closed questions are the most preferred questions with a total number of 252 which is also slightly more than double of referential questions which compose 62 questions. Conversely, open and referential questions produced longer students’ responses than closed and display ones.</em><em></em></p><strong>Key Words: </strong><em>teacher question, EFL classroom interaction, student responses</em></div>

<div><p><em>This research was inspired because of the researcher previous research. Based on the result of the research, he found that there was a contradiction between the students’ enthusiastic and their score after appying Team Game Tournament (TGT) technique. They had highly positive to the use of the technique, but they had low score after doing the reading test. It was the reason why the researcher tried to reresearch about the trueness whether the technique was still possible to be used at Reading Comprehension classroom or not. This research was descriptive quantitative one. Respondent of the research was the third semester students of English department of Tarbiyah Faculty of STAIN Batusangkar registered in 2013/2014 academic year. Data of the research was collected by giving questionnaire and observation note. After analyzing the data of the research, it was known that the students’ attitude toward the use of </em><em>Team Game Tournament (TGT)technique at Reading Comprehension III classroom was <strong>positive </strong>in which there were 16 students (42,1%) had <strong>positif</strong> attitude toward the use of the technkique.</em><strong></strong></p><strong>Kata kunci: </strong>Sikap Mahasiswa, <em>Team Game Tournament</em></div>

<p><em>This research was done because of the students’ difficulties in understanding the concept of global warming and implementing character values so that it needed to design poster media based character education. This research was aimed to see the effectiveness of poster media based character education that was already developed in Ilmu Alamiah Dasar subject. The design of the research was a research development. The effectiveness of poster media was gotten from testing to the students who had conducted Ilmu Alamiah Dasar subject. The instrument of the research was questionnaire. <p><em>This research was inspired from the result of a research under the title: “Analisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahassiswa program studi tadris matematika.” This research was done to know and describe how was the students’ ability to solve mathematic probelm as math teacher candidate in Geometri Transformasi subject registered in 2012/2013 academic year of Mathematic department of Tarbiyah Faculty of STAIN Batusangkar. The design of this research was the combination of quantitative and qualitative by using descriptive approach. The instrument of this research was test and interview. The data was analyzed through data triangulation, data reduction, data presentation, and making conclusion. The result of the research showed that the students’ ability from high group was very satisfactory. The students’ ability from avarage group was satisfactory. <p><em>The rapid progress of information and communication technology in the 21t<sup>h</sup> centuryforced teachers who teach students at any levels of education to change their behaviour and mind-set, even the the commitee that supported them to achieve their teaching objective. A good approach is that a way in which one could integrate technology and education, that was through Blended Learning Model (BLM). <p><em>The reality of students’ negative attitude made Indonesia goverment had not moved forward nowadays. Most people judged that educational system should take the responsibility to this condition. Education was assumed laying on students’ cognitive rather than affective and conative. Reliazing this phenomena, counceling as a part of education offered group counceling as one strategy of character education based playing games. <p><em>The teaching of English at elementary school level is believed to give promising contribution since it can improve students’ language proficiency at early stages. However, teachers’ professional competency is suspected as one of potential problems due to the facts that some of them are not really prepared to teach at this level. Even most of the teachers are not English teaching background. Realizing the phenomena, continuous training and knowledge upgrading programs should be of prior concern. <p><strong><span>:</span></strong><em><span> In this qualitative study, the researcher analyzed the implementation of micro sector of murabahah financing in PT Bank BRI Syariah Padang Branch. The findings revealed that the information which was received by the customer uncompleted, the customer did not understand the content of murabahah. The negotiation both customer and the bank were not done well. Every transaction, the bank gave the highest margin and the margin was determined by the bank. <p><em>This qualitative descriptive research was purposed at describing the implementation of fire insurance in PT Insurance Takaful Umum Padang branch. The techniques of collecting data in this research were interview and study document. This research found that the implementation of fire insurance in PT insurance Takaful umum Padang branch was begun by filling the data in the application letter of fire insurance (SPPAK). Then PT insurance Takaful umum Padang branch produced the appointment in PSKI.
