It has functions as the foundation for planning, actualizing and controlling in education in Indonesia, including for Islamic higher education, in the efforts of achieving qualified education. Islamic higher educational institutions (PTAI) need to formulate and develop SNP in accordance with the characteristics of vision, mission, standard competemcy of the graduates, particular features of the majors developed in PTAI. SNP-based educational institution management is an important element to arrive at educational goals. <p><em>Indonesia's education system hasn't been able to reflect the learners and educational output character. One cause is the paradigm the teacher who assumes coaching Morals as the character formation of students in the school as a teacher of religious education task. Coaching these characters could be done by science teachers particularly biology, according to the purpose of the first biological subjects. <div><p><em>The problem of this research was that there was a difference expression of anger between the societies who came from mountainous area (Pandeglang and Lebak) and western seashore area (Serang and Cilegon, Serang Regency) in Banten province. This might happened because they had different basic culture. Because of this phenomena, this reseach was aimed to know: 1) How is the basic emotional expression (including the feeling of anger, hate, scare, happy, sad, and surprise) of students in PGSD UPI Serang? 2) Was there any different expression of anger between between the societies who came from mountainous area and western seashore area? The research design was descriptive qualitative research. The technique of collecting the data used by the researcher was through observing and giving questionnaire. Observing was done to the both groups of students by watching out their expression when watching a film under the title “The Ride”. Then, the questionnaire was distributed to them to know the description of their emotional feeling. From observasion to both groups of students, it was found that there was no different expression of anger between the societies who came from mountainous area (Pandeglang and Lebak) and western seashore area (Serang and Cilegon, Serang Regency) in Banten province, and expression is basicly universal (including the feeling of anger, hate, scare, happy, sad, and surprise)</em><em>.</em></p><strong>Kata kunci:</strong> emosi, ekspresi emosi, budaya, konseling multikultural</div><div> </div>

Reflective Model was one solution to actualize character education where the students could understand and gain the materials given by a teacher. This research was done to the students of State College Islamic Studies (STAIN) Batusangkar who were registered in 2012/2013 academic year. The design of the research was Classroom Action Research. To solve this problem, a good method has to be promoted in order to improve students’ motivation and their ability in Mathematics. This research was an experimental research through Guide Discovery Method. The subject of the research was the eleventh grade students of Physical Science (IPA) of SMAN 2 Padang who were registered in 2007/2008 academic year. <p><em>The ability to use correct and appropriate language is the main requirement to carry out scientific activities since language is the fundamental scientific tool for communication. Communicative aspects should arrive at the highest level of the expected scientific communication. Furthermore, scientific works should not be limited to those of using popular language, i.e. sentence structures and terminologies, especially in communication among scientist. Understanding language aspects and terminologies of foreign language help language reasoning, both in terms of basic and derivational forms. Singular forms are more advisable except if the context tends to be plural. Based on some linguists’ research there are several factors that might cause the death of the language. They are: natural disaster, war and ethnic clearance, epidemic sickness, hegemony of a foreign language, inferior of language sense, migration, political decision, and intercultural marriage problem. <p><em>Among the competences expected from teachers as stated in School-based Curriculum (KTSP) is the ability to develop instructional materials which are suitable with the students. However, the implementation shows that teachers still find it difficult to design and develop instructional materials. One of the ways is to develop instructional materials with picture and concept maps. This research was aimed at developing valid instructional materials. It was expected that those materials improve students’ comprehension toward biology concepts. This research employed Research and Development design which used 4-D (Four-D) Model. This model consisted of defining, designing, developing and disseminating. Data for the determination of the validity of Instructional materials were obtained from validity checklist. Validity included such aspects as 1) material, 2) presentation and 3) language and readability. The findings showed that instructional materials with picture and concept maps were valid. Specifically, the scores for such aspects as 1) material, 2) presentation and 3) language and readability were 3.36, 3.48, and 3.37 respectively.</em></p><p><strong>Kata kunci: </strong>validitas<strong> </strong>bahan ajar bergambar, peta konsep untuk pembelajaran biologi</p>

This research therefore aimed designing teaching instructional, testing validity and testing practicality of the implementation of the materials upon the topic of animal growth in biology. This research employed research and development design. The first phase dealt with reconstruction or designing learning materials and the instrument that were used in cooperative learning. Next, testing instrument validity was done by expert. In the last phase, limited try out was conducted to figure out the practicality. The findings showed that learning materials and the supporting instruments were valid. Such learning materials included syllabus, lesson plans, students’ lab sheets, concept map manual and students’ achievement evaluation sheet. Implementation practicality was assessed from the cooperative learning process and students’ responses. <p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah menerapkan strategi <em>knowledge sharing</em> untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di Madrasah Diniyah Annafi’iyah Nurul Jadid. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. hasil dari penelitian ini knowledge sharing dalam menigkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dengan cara, antara lain 1) Merubah mindset dan revolusi mental 2) Pelatihan 3) Pengawasan 4) Reward dan punisment. Hasil dari adanya <em>knowledge sharing</em> dapat menambah pengetahuan atau wawasan dan pengalaman baru, sehingga tetap terjaga kualitas sumber daya manusia di madrasah. Penerapan strategi <em>knowledge sharing</em> yang dilakukan seorang pemimpin dapat memberi manfaat bagi sumber daya lembaga sendiri dan bisa mengembangkan lembaga untuk terus maju lebih baik.</p><p>Kata Kunci : Strategi <em>Knowledge Sharing</em> dan Sumber Daya Manusia</p><p>The purpose of this study is to apply knowledge sharing strategies to improve the quality of human resources in Nurul Jadid's Diniyah Annafi'iyah Madrasah. The research methodology used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection is done by interview and observation. the results of this research are knowledge sharing in improving the quality of human resources by means of, among others: 1) changing mental mindset and revolution 2) training 3) supervision 4) rewards and punishments. The results of knowledge sharing can add new knowledge or insights and experiences, so that the quality of human resources is maintained in the madrasa. <p><em>This study was aimed at evaluating the CIPP model</em><em> toward MGMP Chemistry teachers programs in Padang in 2008/2009 academic year. The study showed that Context and Input components were in good category. Process component referring to the actualization of programs which were relevant to the participants’ needs was well and fluently managed and in lack of obstacle category. Product component of the MGMP activities were suitable with the need and improved the participants’ professionalism was in good category. The result of the activities was successfully applied in schools. <p><strong><em>Abstra</em></strong><strong><em>ct</em></strong></p><p><em>This research </em><em>is motivated by the lack of social interaction among students to improve the quality of understanding and learning. Yet this is very important to achieve maximum results in learning, including the habit of students to give feedback, criticism, responses, compliments to each other; mutual energies and thoughts to the group; more concerned with common interests rather than personal interests; mutual aid among fellow members of the group to ensure that all members understand the task they are doing; and they not only contribute but also learn something from the group. Therefore, this study discusses about how the image of students HTI in learning math is done cooperatively. The method used is descriptive quantitative research, the subjects are students of SMPN 5 Bandung totaling 29 person. The instrument that this research used was a questionnaire and observation sheet. <p><em>The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between teachers’ perception about supervision and teaching effectiveness. The data was obtained from 40 teachers. The instrument used in this research was questionnaire. The data was analyzed by using SPSS proram. The result of this study shown that the correlation between teachers’ perception about supervision and teaching effectiveness was 0.43. the contribution of teachers’ perception variable was 0.18% to teaching effectiveness variable.</em></p>

They fail in comprehending or grasping information from reading</em><em> materials. As a result, their motivation decreases which in turn can inhibit their reading comprehension. In reading comprehension class, those difficulties faced by the students may be caused by many factors such as, reading materials, teaching method, media used and so forth. Related to the problem, cloze procedure</em><em> technique can be used as an alternative technique for teaching reading. <p><em>At present, it is suspected that students study biology as product and memorize related concepts, theories and laws. Conversely, biology as content or product, process or methods, attitude and technology are rarely applied that makes the subject not as a whole piece and less interesting. Such phenomena challenges the teacher to be more creative and innovative in developing practical learning supports which are simple and easy to be used by both students and teachers. This research aimed at developing worksheets (LKS) for biology subject intended for grade 8 of junior high school students under the topic of photosynthesis employing valid, practical and effective science process skill approach. This study belonged to research and development one. Learning support is developed by means of Four-D (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). ‘Disseminate’ is not done. Data collections were conducted by validating and trying out of the learning support. Validations were conducted by six experienced and qualified validators while try out was conducted by applying it to the grade 8 students of SMP Dedikasi Edukasi Kualiva (DEK) Padang to figure out practicality and effectiveness. The study showed that the worksheet using environment-based science process skill approach was in very valid category. Students’ responses toward the worksheet showed positive result with an average response was ≥ 80%. It can be concluded that the worksheet was valid, practical and easy to use.</em></p><p><strong>Kata kunci:</strong> LKS, keterampilan proses sains</p>

<p><em>This chapter discusses how the lobbying and negotiation process between the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and the government in responding to the five-day school rules stipulated in Permendikbud No. 23 of 2017 concerning School Day until finally Presidential Regulation No. 87 of 2017 concerning Strengthening Character Education (PPK). NU rejects the existence of the five-day school rule because it considers it would destroy the existence of Madrasah Diniyah (Madin) which has long been maintained by NU as a bastion of morality as well as an educational institution that maintains the noble values of Indonesia. Data collection methods used are through primary and secondary data collection in the form of interviews, news analysis, books, and related journals. Various efforts were taken by NU to abolish the five-day school obligation including discussing with Muhammadiyah and lobbying and negotiating with President Joko Widodo. In the process, NU used more Direct Lobbying and Negotiation strategies compared to Muhammadiyah, which in turn led to NU's beneficial results starting from the amendment of the five-day school regulation which was then stipulated in Perpres 87/2017 until NU's success in strengthening Madin's existence through government funding for support the Character Education Program.</em></p>

<em><span>Democracy is a government of the people, by the people and for the people. The popularity of the democratic system is arguably at its peak. This is proven by the many uses of the democratic system in modern countries in the world. Indonesia as a country that runs a democratic system does not give authority to the authorities to monopolize votes in an election. Because security and freedom for every citizen, free to choose as a representation of the sovereignty of the people. But on the side that democracy often happens is seen as freedom so that there are some elements mixing elements in democracy that actually damage democracy itself. Call it when campaigning for a candidate to hate speech, insult, and berate other candidates so that damage the good name in the eyes of the community. As reported in Detik.com in 2016, the National Police stated that there were 2,018 cases of hate speech that occurred. Then it increased by 44.99% in 2017 to 3,325 cases. Furthermore, in 2018 reported in January 2019 there were 3,884 cases of hate speech that occurred. This proves that in campaigning the candidates cannot be said to campaign peacefully, fairly and competitively. Whereas Allah s.w.t. It has been said in Surah al-Hujurat verse 11. Based on the description above the writer is interested in discussing and studying more about the campaign in the Elections in Indonesia and campaigning peacefully perspective of Surah al-Hujurat verse 11. This is important to discuss given the rampant hate speech cases that conducted by candidates in campaigning. This study aims to contribute knowledge to the candidates so that in campaigning, they do not utter hate speech, insult, and berate other candidates.</span></em>
