This research was applied to the first semester students of Physical Science Department of STAIN Batusangkar who were registered in 2011/2012 academic year that consisted of 55 students. In collecting the data, the instrument of this research was test in multiple choice form. It consisted 30 items. In asnwering the question, the students were asked to write CRI mark (0-5) as level of their believe to their answer. A misconception student can be known by comparing his or her answer based on CRI s/he fills. Research result showed that 80 % students did misconception of the time concept of<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></em><em>free falling bodies</em><em>, 45 % students did not know the concept of action (aksi) and reaction (reaksi), and 7.27 % students knew the concept of Newton Formula 1. This research was descriptive qualitative research. The researcher did obervation and interview to those students. Then, the researcher also interviewed the teacher in order to find out the students’ learning strategies, their part-time job after school, and time duration for working after school. The researcher also observed their daily activities at the school. Permasalahan penelitian ini bagaimana strategi Radio Suara Padang FM dalam pengelolaan siaran dakwah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memaparkan strategi Radio Suara Padang FM dalam pengelolaan siaran dakwah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumenter. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kordinator siaran, divisi dakwah dan penyiar Radio Suara Padang FM. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian bahwa Strategi Radio Suara Padang FM dalam pengelolaan siaran dakwah adalah (1) pengelolaan siaran dakwah dikelola oleh divisi dakwah dengan melibatkan staff dan penyiar, target pendengar masyarakat Kota Padang. (2) Keterlibatan penyiar dalam pengelolaann siaran dakwah adalah kemampuan menguasai materi dalam bersiaran dan menerapkan konsep dakwah itu sendiri. (3) Faktor penghambat siaran dakwah di Radio Suara Padang FM adalah kurangnya pemasukan iklan serta kalau seandainya listrik padam. Adapun cara mengatasi hambatan siaran dakwah adalah dengan memperbanyak <em>link</em> dan pemasukan serta menelpon teknisi jika listrik padam. Evaluasi yang dilakukan penyiar Radio Suara Padang FM, dengan melakukan evaluasi rutin setiap bulannya.

<p><em>This research aimed at figuring out the effect of PKMSEB method toward learning achievement and involvement of Biology Department students in Research Methodology subject. This research employed a classroom action research. The population of the research was 70 students who were taking Research Methodology subject. The data were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics. The findings showed that PKMSEB method improved students’ learning achievement although it was not high. Students’ learning involvement was fairly high. In general, all elements of involvement activity and learning achievement improved, however, the percentage and the score of such improvement were not significant. One alternative that can be proposed to solve the problem is by employing contextual learning approach through TPS-Berempat cooperative learning. This study therefore aimed at figuring out whether the students’ concept which was taught by TPS-Berempat cooperative learning model is better than that by the conventional one and whether the components of the model existed. The participants of the research were the seventh grade students of SMP N 20 Padang in 2009/2010 academic year. Quasi Experimental method using Posttest Control Group Design was employed. Experimental group was treated by using contextual learning approach while the control one by using conventional. The data was taken from achievement test. <p>The objective of the study was to apply and to test the HBV subtropical model into a tropical region Batang Arau watershed Padang. Batang Arau watershed, located in Padang, covers an area of 106 km<sup>2</sup>. The HBV model was manually calibrated by trial adjustment of each parameter to obtain the appropriate physical characteristics of Batang Arau watershed. The study shows that the correlation coefficient of 0.48 and the value of NSE at 0.58. The value indicates the HBV modeling included in the category of accuracy being and indicated that HBV built models can not simulate the discharge of DAS Batang Arau quite well and can not be used to represent the real situation in DAS Batang Arau Padang. Although DAS Batang Padang Harau included in a small basin, but the model of HBV have not been able to describe the phenomenon that is properly due to the diversity of topography.</p><p><em>Key</em><em> </em><em>words: Model HBV hydrology, watershed Batang Arau, the diversity of topography</em></p>

<p>Birds are one of the biological wealth owned by Indonesia. The structure of the lower strata of bird communities in tropical areas represent a very good system to see the difference in sensitivity between species for habitat variation in different scales. This study was conducted in January 2013 using the method of net Mist (mist nets) in the Kerinci National Park (TNKS). Birds that are found as many as 21 species to 83 people only order passerines with six families. The diversity of birds affected by many factors diantarannya abundance of epiphytes, an abundance of fruits, the openness of the forest floor and tree species composition. But in practice many abused formaldehyde as a preservative foods such as tofu, meatballs, anchovies, etc. wet fish. When food is consumed can cause interference with the metabolism of the body's organs and systems. A research on the investigation of formaldehyde, especially in out circulating in the market Batusanggkar. Examination carried out by using potassium permanganate (KMnO4) and dragon fruit skin by observing the color changes. <p>The utility of synthetic cleaners or commonly called as detergents have developed far indeed in this century. The effective and efficient use of detergents in cleaning process, was attracted to be used in laundry’s industry commercially, though, it has some drawback to the society and environments. Since the active materials in the compounds can cause irritating to the skins, cataracts to mature eyes and some other environmental issues due to the excess of foams can prevent oxygen dilution in the water so it be hazardous to water living organisms. Once the promising method to solve this problem is by photo-degradation using photo-catalyst. Photo-catalyst is the process using light and catalyst in order to accelerate chemical transformation, thus, solar or uv-rays can be used as light sources. This research aims at to show the ability of catalyst TiO<sub>2</sub> to degrade active material in linear alkyl benzene sulphonate (LAS) and alkyl benzene sulphonate (ABS) which is available in commercial detergent. Photo-degradation of LAS and ABS compounds was determined by optimum capacity TiO<sub>2</sub> and irradiance time. Whereas, for environmental application, the degrade compounds such Rinso® and Wipol® was chosen since it is commonly used in daily life. Beside, artificial water waste and laundry water was chosen to show the environmental effect. The result shows that the optimum number of catalyst TiO<sub>2</sub> addition for LAS degradation was 1.5 g, and optimum time was 120 minute. Whereas the optimum number of catalyst TiO<sub>2</sub> addition for ABS degradation was 2.0 g, and optimum time was 120 minute as well. Thus, for detergent Rinso®, at optimum catalyst addition, we found degradation number was 75.83%, and for detergent Wipol®, at optimum catalyst addition, we found degradation number was 57.94%. Whereas, for artificial waste at optimum catalyst addition, we found degradation number was 91.32%, and for laundry water waste at optimum catalyst addition, we found degradation number was 70.27%.</p><em>Key words : Photodegradation, surfactant, TiO<sub>2</sub>, photocatalyst</em>

<div><p>Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease marked with high blood sugar levels. Patients with diabetes mellitus susceptible to pulmonary tuberculosismaking it difficult for to cure them. This research aims to find out figure of anti tuberculosis drug resistance in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis with diabetes mellitus. This descriptive research was conducted in the Laboratory of Microbiology Center for Lung Disease Treatment Lubuk Alung West Sumatra. Sputum samples were pulmonary tuberculosis patients with diabetes mellitus as many as 10 samples. The results of Mycobacterium tuberculosis sensitivity to anti-tuberculosis drugs in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis with diabetes mellitus showed resistance to one drug, isoniazid by 10% and the other anti tuberculosis drugs are not resistance.</p><em>Key words : diabetes mellitus, pulmonary tuberculosis, anti tuberculosis drugs, resistance</em></div><div><em><br /></em></div>

<p><em>This research is motivated because MAN 2 Batusanggkar already brought positive changes to the collar in the quality of schooling. This is evidenced by the many religious programs, science, scouts, sport and art that have been realized. The program that has been realized is a scout camp between schools of West Sumatra, calligraphy training, development of new classes, building and other art. As for the purpose of this research is because they want to understand the phenomenon of the leadership of Principal in an effort to improve the quality of education in MAN 2 Batusanggkar Tanah Datar Distric and to look for the meaning behind the facts about the leadership of Principal in an effort to improve the quality of education in MAN 2 Batusanggkar Tanah Datar Distric. Research method in this research is a qualitative. The qualitative research is a research procedure with the results of descriptive data. In collecting the data, researchers conducted observation, direct interviews and documentation study. Observation, direct interviews and documentation study that examined do is about the leadership implementation of head master to improve quality of education in MAN 2 Batusanggkar Tanah Datar District. The results of this research showed (1). MAN 2 Batusanggkar school principals have the multi-style leadership, in carrying out their duties this kind of leader would welcome suggestions from subordinates and even critics ask of them for the successful joint work. (2). The strategy used in general is a bridge between the hearts of human resources, the division of tasks in accordance with the competency of teachers, there is a clear timetable, the evaluation of direct and indirect evaluation, and each teacher mengahargai each other and help each other. (3). Internal constraints are still many areas of learning of human resources, has not yet formed groups by subject, lack of funding and very limited assistance, institutionally, MAN 2 Batusanggkar in designing the budget does not have the autonomy and the large amount of human resources and input in MAN 2 Batusanggkar. External obstacle is cooperation with the local government in the context of religious education is still limited and the quality improvement program that institution under the name of Madrasah in the field of religion is often powerless against the current globalization. </em><em>Thus, the principal's leadership in improving the quality of education is done by applying multi-style leadership and multi-strategy. Although there are some constraints, but the constraints can be resolved properly.</em><em></em></p>

<p class="Default">Found lack of good management of knowledge School SMA Negeri 1 Bayang. Knowledge management is not good can cause a lack of knowledge transmission is only delivered directly. This is because the learning activities are only delivered face to face. Knowledge is one thing that is very important for students, teachers and employees at the school, the knowledge does not have to be obtained in person or face-to-face between teachers, students and employees who share knowledge. In this study will be designed a system that can manage knowledge so well that teachers, students and employees can share knowledge and information for the actors who needs although do not follow the forum directly to the knowledge management system, when students can not attend classes can still get the material from integrated system, delivery of information by the school can also be obtained by students although unable to attend school, the teacher can not attend a workshop or meeting can get the information or the results of the workshop or meeting.</p><em>Key words: knowledge management system, knowledge sharing and information</em>

<p>The effort on constructing weather data generator to cope with the scarcity of daily rainfall data is becoming essential recently. The objective of the paper is to generate rainfall daily data using stochastic spreadsheet. This technique can generate random values derived from the Gamma distribution which is initiated by the determination of rainfall probabilities, the occurrences on certain days and followed by the generation of rainfall height. The result showed that the rainfall data generator in Padang at period 1976-2005 showed consistent patterns with the observation eventhough simulation on day 180<sup>th</sup> the value is too high. Based on T-paired test, it showed no statistically significant different between simulation and observation (P-Value=0.000). Thus, the model can be employed as daily rainfall generator that can be further used to support the sustanaibility of agricultural activitiesin and food security in Padang. <strong></strong></p><em>Key words: </em><em>the scarcity, Gamma distribution, food security</em>

<p>The need to detect anions and cations in a variety of environmental water samples more rapidly along with the increasing environmental problems and the time required analytical methods are precise, fast, simple and can provide an accurate assessment. Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatography (HILIC) is an extremely precise technique for separating polar compounds or compounds that are hydrophilic. The purpose of this study is to assess the separation of anions using HILIC stationary phases imidazole in hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography with the addition of ammonium acetate salt. From the research that has been done can be concluded Imidazoles HILIC can separate SCN- anion, NO 3, NO 2, Br, and I- BrO3- using acetonitrile mobile phase. The addition of salt Ammonium Acetate in the mobile phase can increase the sensitivity and selectivity of anions. <p><em>The reform</em><em> </em><em>movement opened the door to </em><em>implementation</em><em> of the 1945 amendment to the constitution. The urgency of the Indonesian government's control system, which included the legislative, executive and judicial institutions, was quite a concern. This condition is based on the fact that during the Orde Baru the concept of the Trias Politica Montesquieu was castrated by the authorities. Unlike the case of the Islamic constitutional system, the concept of mutual control was much more familiar when Khulafaur Rasyidin Umar bin Khattab called six (six) high-ranking friends to find a replacement. This was later considered the first Syura Institute in Islamic history. The purpose of this paper is to recognize the urgency of checks and balances in the Indonesian government system and in the Islamic state administration. This article uses a library research method with a qualitative descriptive approach, which is then analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results show that following the amendment of the 1945 Constitution, the legislature, including the DPR and the DPD, has taken control of the executive and the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court as a judicial body can control each other and establish a balance between these institutions. While the Islamic constitutional system in the Fiqh study of Siyasah was already familiar with the separation of powers and the separation of powers in the institutions of Tasyri'iyah, Tanfidziyah and Qada'iyah.</em></p>

<p><em>This paper discusses about the pattern of contracts in the economic empowerment of the Atar migrant community. Many migrants are not easy to get a job that later nomads can be independent. They are looking for work to other areas to be able to get a decent job that will provide their lives. In this section, the writer takes a qualitative descriptive approach by describing the contract pattern in empowerment carried out by the nomads, while the technique is snowball sampling in interviewing the main character until the information obtained at the saturated level, no more new information becomes data in this paper. The results achieved were that the nomads patterned contracts that were used in empowering the nomads community with qiradh contracts, and grants.</em></p>

<p><em>The tradition of “buying and selling” children in the community of Padang Pariaman Regency is a habit that has been passed down for generations. Though Islamic law and Indonesian criminal law forbid “buying and selling” children. This research is an empirical legal research by looking at the phenomenon of the tradition of “buying and selling” children in Padang Pariaman Regency. Then, it was analyzed with al-'urf in Islamic law and elements of criminal acts in Indonesian criminal law. Based on the results of research that the purpose of the tradition of “buying and selling” children in Padang Pariaman Regency is to eliminate the bad luck of a child by his biological parents. This in Islamic law belongs to al-furf al-fasid. So that despite the sale and purchase of children in Padang Pariaman Regency, this tradition is not included in the crime of trafficking of children, because it does not fulfill the elements of the crime of child trafficking.</em></p>

<em>The phenomenon of determining the time of the first day of Ramadan and the first day of Shawwal in Indonesia raises a prolonged folemic, each group has its own basis and methods. In West Sumatra region, there is a Tariqat Syatahariyah group which still has a large influence in the midst of the Minangkabau community, so they have their own method of determining the beginning of the Islamic month, the reckoning taqwim method. This method is found in the book of Mizan al-Qarb, which discusses the initial determination of the Qamariyah (lunar) system. This paper is more focused on how the dating system and the method of determining the beginning of the month of Qamariyah in the Mizan al-Qarb manuscript from the viewpoint of Falak and Astronomy. The method used is the field method and literature with the approach of Philology, Falak Science and Astronomy. The data source is the manuscript of Mizan al-Qarb found in Surau Calau Sijunjung. The documentation technique is used in data collection, with several stages: collection, selection, and criticism. With the findings of the manuscript Mizan al-Qarb with conditions that have begun to be damaged, then it is necessary to preserve the contents contained therein concerning the calendar and the method of determining the beginning of the Qamariyah which refers to the rukyat method, using the naked eye and not using the media, so it is concluded if the calculation starts from Thursday the result is the same as contemporary reckoning, if it starts Wednesday will be the first day difference with contemporary reckoning</em>
