<div><p>This research investigated traditional medicine used by primitive tribes in order to cure their diseases. This study was conducted in December 2010 at small town, Taban, VII Koto district. The method used in this research was descriptive survey. The result of this research showed that there were 39 kinds of medical plants derived from 33 families. <p>This research is aimed at investigating the influence of cow’s rumen fluid volume toward varied feces in producing biogas. This research has been done since October to December 2013 at Biotechnology laboratory, Faculty and Mathematic Science. The method of this research was completely randomized design (CRD) with factorial in three times. The first factor as the treatment was the type of feces, such as cow, horse, goat, and buffalo’s feces. The second factor was the treatment by adding the volume of cow’s rumen liquid as many as 160 and 320 ml. The control was the treatment without adding the volume of cow’s rumen liquid. The variables that were measured in this research were the volume of biogas and the duration of biogas flame that could be produced. The result of this research shows that the type of feces affected the biogas production. In these treatments, the highest volume of biogas that was produced to the lowest were horse’s feces yield of 226.56 cm<sup>3</sup>, cow’s feces yield of 71.40 cm<sup>3</sup>, buffalo’s feces yield of 28.28 cm<sup>3</sup>, and goat’s feces yield of 2.13 cm<sup>3</sup>. The addition of rumen liquid can increase the biogas production on cow, goat, and buffalo’s feces, but it did not significantly give the effect on horse’s feces. The positive interaction between addition of rumen liquid and feces shows on cow, goat, and buffalo’s feces. The rumen liquid, however, was not interacted with horse’s feces for producing biogas.</p><span>Key words: biogas, rumen fluid, methanogen</span>

<p>The purpose of this research is to know more about the influence of cigarette’s smoke to the quantity, mouse’s spermatozoa during one cycle of spermatogenesis. This research used the method of Post Test Only Control Group Design. The sample is about 24 male mice which criteria 2-3 month old, male, 25-35 gr weight. The result of the research to quantity of spermatozoa by Anova test showed the significant connection (α> 0.05) between control group with behavior, average the spermatozoa motility decrease if compare with control. Preferable if we want to know more about the influence of cigarette to the quality of sperm, we will need a test to the other quality suvh pH, velocity, viscosity and DNA of spermatoza.</p><span>Key words : quality of spermatozoa, cigarettes, male mouse</span>

<p>The research on estimation ploidy and genetic relationships between sample collections from Solok Balitbu Tropic has been studied from Mei 2012 until November 2013. This study was done on experimental garden in Solok Balitbu Tropic and Genetic and Sitology Laboratory, Faculty of Math and Natural Science Andalas University. The aims of this study were to reveal the rate of ploidy on some bananas accession by using Stover and Simmonds (1987) scoring system and to relieve the rate of ploidy on some bananas accession based on quantity of chromosomes. The result revealed that the rate ploidy from 20 bananas accession the presence of 8 accessions of banana AA / AAA genome, AAB genome 8 accessions of banana and 4 banana accessions AB genome. Genetic relationship from dendrogram analysis showed that there were four groups bananas accession. Groups I, III, and IV were closely related to<em>M. <p>The aim of this experimental study is to know the effect of cottonseed extracts toward the reproduction of mice (<em>Mus musculus </em>L., Swiss Webster). This experiment used completely randomized design with 4 treatment and 6 replied. Treatment given was cottonseed extract with several dose, namely control (0 gram/mice), 0,03 gram/mice, 0,05 gram/mice and 0,07 gram/mice. This research was conducted on Desember 2013-January 2014 in animal house Zoology Laboratory Majors Biology FMIPA UNP. The parameters are vaginal smear, corpus luteum number, implantation, life fetus, died fetus, abnormal fetus, resorpsion fetus and average of weight fetus. Data is analyzed by ANOVA and DNMRT significant p (0,05). The result shows that cottonseed extract indicated that there are extension proestrous, metestrous, and diestrous. It can conclude that cottonseed extract influenced mice cycle reproduction. The cottonseed extracts indicated there are decreasing corpus luteum number, implantation number, life fetus number and average of fetus weight were compared by control. This research concludes that cottonseed extract (<em>Gossypium hirsutum </em>L.) influenced the performance reproduction of mice (<em>Mus musculus </em>L., Swiss Webster).</p><p> </p>Key words: gossypol, fetus, cycle and performance reproduction

<p><em>Outbound Science provides active and enjoyable learning</em><em> atmosphere that guarantees students not easily to get fed up and tired during the learning process. Such supporting atmosphere facilitates the students’ comprehension on the concept of science. Outbound science learning is carried out in order that the students can experience directly the concept they are learning about, develop their logical reasoning and teach them to acquire spiritual, emotional and intellectual optimally. <p><em>This study was conducted to figure out the influence of Resource-based Learning (RBL) learning method using internet</em><em> toward learning achievement in Biology subject. This study employed Post-test only Control Group Design. The population was the first semester of the tenth grade students of SMAN 4 Padang in 2008/2009 academic year. They were distributed into 8 parallel classes. The sample was taken by employing purposive sampling technique. After deciding two classes to become the sample by using coin flipping technique, class X.6 and X.5 were chosen as the experimental and control groups respectively. Data were analyzed by using t-test. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the value of t-calculated was 3.87 under the degree of freedom 95% (α=0.05) and the value of t-table was 2.00 under the degree of freedom of 69. Therefore, t-calculated was higher that t-table. This means that the alternate hypothesis was accepted. It can be concluded that Resource-based Learning (RBL) learning method using internet gives significant influence toward learning achievement in Biology subject of the tenth grade students of SMAN 4 Padang in 2008/2009 academic year.</em><em></em></p><p><strong>Kata kunci: </strong>metode pembelajaran, <em>resource based learning, </em>internet, hasil belajar, biologi</p>

<p><em>Renewal of Islamic family law in the Islamic world is not a new thing, but</em><strong> </strong>it <em>has been applied since the 19th century. The renewal was due to the rise of awareness of the community and scholars that the concepts of fiqh which had been used as references has been left behind from the times. The development of the situation and conditions of the community at that time was one of the causes of the reform of family law. This paper discussess about the family law that applies in several Muslim countries, namely the countries of Pakistan, Turkey, Morocco and Indonesia. Regulatory analysis carried out is by comparing family law that applied in each country regarding the age limit for marriage. The comparison analysis is vertical, horizontal, diagonal and the social conditions of these countries. Each country vertically has a different school handle, then horizontally these countries have provisions regarding the age limits of different marriages, both men and women due to the social conditions of the country itself. While diagonally related to the age limit of marriage, each country still adheres to the school they hold, although explicitly it is not determined how old the marriage is in the classical literature</em><em>.</em></p>

<p><em>A large numbers of credits taken by college students in Undergraduate Program proved to be insufficient for their successful competition in the job market. To deal with this issue, Teacher Training Colleges and Institution provided their graduates with several professional skills related to computer and internet, foreign language learning, and other vocational skills. Some of the results of these programs are fruitful for the graduations; however, several ongoing activities need to be monitored and reviewed. <p><strong>Contribution of Discipline to Teacher Performance of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Padangpanjang. </strong>Teachers’ performance was tending to be lower everywhere. It was assumed that this was closely related to their working discipline. This research aimed at revealing the contribution of the teachers’ work discipline and principas instrucstional leadership toward teachers.</p><p>Performance to do it, this reseach presented three hypotheses: The first, teacher working discipline contributed to teachers’ ferformance; second, contributed to teachers performance, the third, both techers’ working discipline and principals’ instructional leadership contributed simultaneously toward the teacher performance.</p><p>There were 97 senior high school teachers involved as the population of the research, twenty seven of them were selected as smples by using stratified proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected by using a questionanaire of likert scale model and analyzed by means of correlated and regression techniques. The results showed that: (1) Teachers’ working discipline contributited significantly 47,0% Toward the teachers’ performanc, it can be concluded that the working discipline.</p><p>Anyway, there must be some other factors contributing which were not discussed in this study. However, the teachers’ working discipline and had been tested to significanty contributed to the teachers’ performance.</p><strong>Kata Kunci: </strong>disiplin kerja, kinerja guru

<p>The purpose of this research was to design a system of determination of the static friction coefficient of the object on inclined plane digitally. The purpose of this research is to explain the performance specifications, accuracy and precision of the system. There were three main results of this research. Firstly, the system was designed with the surface of the slip object size 8,7 x15 cm and glide plane 9 x 100 cm. Secondly, the average of accuracy relative accelerometer sensor was 95,58%. The method used was atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS). The research findings revealed that the quantity of copper (Cu) fulfilled the criteria regulated by the Regulation of Ministry of Health Affairs No. 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. It is not exceed 2 mg/L. Meanwhile, the quantity of Zinc (Zn) did not fulfill, except one, the Regulation of Ministry of Health Affairs No. 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. <p>This research has successfully designed an instrument to measure air pressure, namely, <em>DT-Sense Barometric Pressure and Temperature (DT-SBPT</em>). <em>DT-SBPT </em>is a smart sensor module on the basis of HP03 sensor. Data were collected using direct and indirect measurement. Direct measurement was done toward air pressure. Indirect measurement, however, was applied to determine the exact and accuracy of the measurement of air pressure. Data were analyzed by using two ways, namely statistic and graphic ways. The result of the research shows that <em>DT-SBPT </em>has high appropriateness and accuracy, which is 0.99. The air pressure around earth surface decrease linearly when the height increase.</p><span>Keywords: air pressure, smart sensor module</span>

<p>The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of fluorescent pseudomonads on some carrier with the addition of stabilizer glycerol in controlling Blood Disease Bacteria invitro. The experiment was conducted from May to July 2013, housed in the Laboratory of Plant Physiology, FMIPA UNP. Parameters measured were the amount of inhibition zone diameter fluorescent pseudomonads in controlling BDB CAS3 invitro. Observations preservation is done every 10 days until a preservation period of 60 days. This study is an experiment in completely randomized design (CRD) with 9 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were fluorescent pseudomonads carrier CAS3 on tapioca (glycerol addition of 0,03 mL, 0,04 mL and 0,05 mL); carrier CAS3 fluorescent pseudomonads in rice flour (glycerol addition of 0,03 mL, 0,04 mL and 0,05 mL); carrier CAS3 fluorescent pseudomonads on talc (glycerol addition of 0,03 mL, 0,04 mL and 0,05 mL). Inhibition zone diameter data were analyzed using ANOVA at 5% significance level and continued with DNMRT test at 5% significance level. The results showed that the large inhibitory zone formed around the Blood Disease Bacteria vary. Results of analysis of variance on the preservation period of 10 days was significantly different at DNMRT further test, with the largest inhibition zone that is in treatment F (6,41mm) and the lowest in treatment I (1.15mm), whereas the preservation period of 20 to 60 days is not significantly different. <div><p>Research about plant visited by <em>Apis</em> forager was conducted at altitude < 500 m and 600-1400 m of West Sumatra from December 2009-July 2010. The plant visited by forager was collected at radius 500 m from nests in fruits cropping, coffea and cinnamom plantation and forest edge. Honeybee from genus <em>Apis</em>visit on plant consisted of four species, those are<em> A. andreniformis, A. cerana, A. dorsata</em> and <em>A. koschevnikovi</em>. Plant visited by forager <em>Apis</em> consisted of 61 species belong to 26 families. The number of 36 plant species found at lowland and highland, 20 species only at lowland and five species at highland. Most of plant species visited by <em>Apis </em>forager are Asteraceae and Leguminoceae. About 29 plant species visited by <em>Apis</em> were agriculture crop and 32 species of non agriculture. <em>Apis andreniformis</em> visited 29 plant species, <em>A. cerana</em> 56 species, <em>A. dorsata</em> 57 species and <em>A. koschevnikovi </em>one plant species. <em>Cucumis sativus</em> was visited by four bee species, <em>Galiansoga farviflora</em> was visited only by <em>A. cerana</em>. Five plant species (<em>Rorippa indica, Cinnamomum burmanii, Nasturrium indicum, Rorippa indica</em> and <em>Eryngium foetidum</em><em>)</em><em> </em>were visited by only <em>A. </em><em>d</em><em>orsata</em>. Other three plants species (<em>Mangifera indica, Cytrus aurantifolia</em>and <em>Oryza sativa</em><em>)</em> were visited by <em>A. cerana</em> and <em>A. andreniformis,</em> 31 plant species were visited by <em>A. cerana</em> and <em>A. dorsata</em>, 21 species were visited by <em>A. andreniformis</em><em>,</em><em> A. cerana</em> and <em>A. dorsata.</em><em></em></p><p>Keywords: lebah madu, Apis forager, food source plant, visit</p><div> </div></div>

<p class="Abstract">Prediction model using combination of K-Means Clustering, Excel Function, and Naïve Bayes Classifier. Process is dataset, clustering, calculation, classification and prediction. Dataset source on BPS 2013 about consumption of fruit and vegetable. Clustering using K-Means Clustering. Clustering by output Cluster 1, Cluster 2, and Cluster 3. Calculation using Excel. Calculation by output Priority Yes and Priority No. Classification using Naïve Bayes Classifier. Classification by output Class Good and Class Bad. All data processing for clustering, calculation, and classification using Excel. Experimental results on BPS 2013 Dataset show percentage of fruit consumption 42,42% Class Good (class above average) and percentage fruit consumption of fruit consumption 57,58% Class Bad (class below average). Percentage of vegetable consumption 45,45% Clas Good (class above average) and percentage of vegetable consumption 54,55% Class Bad (class below average).
