<em>This study focuses on the strengthening research culture through research-based learning in universities. This is a library research whose data source from reference books, scientific journals, proceedings, magazines, legislation and similar research results accessed through libraries and open journal systems. The data collection is conducted by compiling data in accordance with sub-problems which are then systematically organized. Data analysis is done by content analysis techniques to obtain theories or concepts and research results that are able to answer research problems. The results of this study indicate; 1) research is an important approach to improving the quality of learning, 2) to strengthen the culture of research at least there are four integrated focuses; (a) learning the latest research in lectures, (b) teaching research techniques or methods in each lecture taught by lecturers, (c) learning involving students to conduct research, and (d) discussion, debate or brainstorming to criticize research. 3) the benefits of PBR for students are; (a) students become usual in doing thesis because they are familiar with how to research, (b) trained to think, analyze, express and defend ideas, (c) trained to work in a planned manner, (d) trained to work hard, and (e) trained work in teams, connect with other people and collaborate.</em>

<em>Learning Public Speaking does not only include good speaking English but also gives attractive performance. However, this is not easy due to the fearness and anxiety with various symptoms such as a rapid heartbeat, wet palms, or vibrating sounds. In order to minimize the obstacles, Project Based Learning (PBL) is designed. The students are assigned to be public speakesr sharing the information about agency programs to public. The project was eventually documented in the form of videos. To find out the success of the learning, a qualitative descriptive study was conducted on the video project. The subject of the research was a female student whose public speaking videos were analyzed. The sample was selected purposively because women have greater public speaking anxiety than men do. As the result, at first, the students did not have problems in making the text (content) to be presented, but it was problematic in the delivery. The first video shows public speaking fear that has not been resolved so that delivery occurs at a low level. Secondly, while in the second video it shows self confidence resulting a high delivery capability. It can be concluded that having one real experience as a public speaker makes the student able to overcome public speaking fear or anxiety.</em>

<p>The purpose of this research is to figure out the effect of cooperative strategy type STAD with LDS on the students’ cognitive domain learning outcomes in Biology class, at the eighth grade of SMPN 3 Batang Anai. The research was an experimental research with Randomised Control Group Postest Only Design. The research instrument was a multiple choice test consisting of 55 test items. The cognitive test result of the experimental group was 70.46, whereas that of the control group was 60.07. T test result shows t<sub>count</sub> (3.34) > t<sub>table</sub> (1.68). Thus the hypothesis was accepted. It is concluded that the cooperative learning Type STAD with LDS gives an effect on the students’ cognitive domain learning outcomes of Biology subject taught to the eighth grads students of SMPN 3 Batang Anai Padang Pariaman regency.</p>

The problem of the research was various unrevealed errors found in students’ theses at Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Department of IAIN Bukittinggi. This study is aiming at describing the errors found in the students’ theses. This is a qualitative research which describes the errors of students’ writing theses. The data were collected through the technique bof documentary study. The source of data was the students’ theses. The research consisted of five phases; Reading, Identifying, Coding, Summarizing, Displaying, and Summarizing the data. The result describes five errors in students’ theses namely: uncohesive, uncoherent, incomplete, undeveloped, and unsequential arrangement of paragraphs.

<em><em>This article depicts problems faced by High School teachers while using literature in teaching English. The data related to their broad views of using literature in the classroom were obtained from semi structured questionnaires as the preliminary data distributed to English teachers in Tanah Datar regency. As the result, by using purposive sampling technique ten of the teachers were selected to be the informants of the research. Then, in-depth interviews were conducted to the informants in order to find the obstacles encountered while integrating literature in their teaching of English. As the result, most of the informants found that using literature is interesting, however it is relatively disadvantageous because of several burdens, such as 1) Its difficult language, in terms of its complexity, its structure, vocabulary, poetic and unfamiliar diction, 2) inappropriacy with the students’ level, 3) not suitable with the topics, 4) time management, 5) students’ lack of pronunciation, 6) unavailable supporting tools, 7) limited resources, 8) students’ unconfidence, and 9) unattractive poem materials.</em></em>

<p>Due to the queries of whether the implementation of contextual teaching strategy in teaching Islamic education is in line with Al-Quran and Hadits or not, the research tries to search for the historical facts, and the relevant verses in Al-Quran and Hadits. This was a qualitative research describing whether the contextual teaching consisting of seven components have relevance and strong base in islamic tradition. The result shows the contextual teaching principles such as, constructivism, questioning, inquiry, learning community, modelling, reflection, and authentic assessment have strong relation and foundation in Al-Quran, Hadits, and Islamic history. It can be concluded that contextual teaching is applicable in teaching Islamic education.</p>

<p>The purpose of this study was to develop tree chart media used to teach writing narration at the fifth grade of elementary school level. The research design was Research and Development with ADDIE model. The subjects of the research were the students and teacher at the fifth class of SDI Al-Azhar Muhammadiyah Simabur. The research instruments were 1) the expert and practitioner validity assessment sheets, 2) practicality instruments such as, lesson plans, questionnaire of teacher and student response of practicality, and validity assessment sheets, and 3) effectivity instrument namely students’ writing test result. The data were analyzed descriptively. The result shows that the developed teaching materials were extremely valid indicated by both expert validity gain 92% and practitioner validity gain 93%. In terms of practicality, the teaching materials were very practical indicated by both teacher response 93.3% and the student response 92.9%. At last, the effectivity was shown by the students activity while doing writing. In summary, the tree chart-based-teaching media in teaching writing narration is valid, practical, and effective to the fifith grade students.</p>

<em>The main focus of this research is to investigate corrective feedback made by the English teacher during classroom interaction. The study was qualitative research. The data in this study were the utterances that spoken by teacher and student during the classroom activity. The data were collected through a record where the writer himself recorded the utterances during teaching learning process a ninety-minute in duration. In this study, the teacher is an English teacher who teaches at grade XI SMA Payakumbuh. The data were analyzed by qualitative approach, writer explained corrective feedback types that happened in classroom interaction. There are six types of corrective feedback occurred in the classroom interaction at SMA 1 Payakumbuh namely: recast, repetition, clarification request, explicit correction, elicitation, and paralinguistic correction. Recast, clarification request and elicitation are the most corrective feedback applied by teacher in the classroom interaction. </em>

<p>This research aims at improving students’ activity and learning outcomes through Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) in Basic Natural Sciences subject at<em> Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi STKIP PGRI</em> West Sumatera. This research is a classroom action research lasting for 2 cycles. Each cycle consisted of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in Basic Natural Science class attended by 30 students. The research parameters were the students’ activity identified through the observation sheet recorded the students’ action during the learning process and their learning outcomes gained from a test. Data analysis used percentage formula. The results show that the average of students’ activity on the first cycle was 76.12 and increased in cycle II to 79.45. Meanwhile the students’ learning outcomes in the first cycle was 77.62 with the classical completeness of 73.33% . It increased in cycle II to 78.97 with the classical completeness of 77.33%. In short, the application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together can increase the students’ activity and learning outcomes in Basic Natural Science subject.</p>

The result</em><em> shows the </em><em>increase</em><em> of the students’ </em><em>average literacy skill </em><em>after being taught </em><em>with Problem Based Learning in the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor domains. <p>Studi ini mengkaji tentang Tradisi<em> “Uang Siriah”</em> dalam timbang tando di Nagari Langsat Kadap Kecamatan Rao Selatan Kabupaten Pasaman ditinjau dari<em> ‘urf</em> . Dari permasalahan tersebut muncul pertanyaan bagaimana proses pelaksanaan <em>Uang Siriah </em>dalam timbang tando di Nagari Langsat Kadap Kecamatan Rao Selatan Kabupaten Pasaman dan bagaimana tinjauan ‘<em>Urf </em>terhadap pelaksanaan <em>Uang Siriah</em>. Jenis penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah jenis penelitian lapangan (<em>field research), </em>untuk mendapatkan data-data dari permasalahan yang diteliti menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang penulis temukan bahwa sebelum melaksanakan perkawinan ada aturan adat yang harus dijalankan di Nagari Langsat Kadap Kecamatan Rao Selatan Kabupaten Pasaman yaitu calon laki- laki harus membayar uang siriah kepada niniak mamak pihak perempuan dalam proses timbang tando. Pelaksanaan uang siriah dalam pertunangan pada masyarakat Nagari Langsat Kadap pertama diawali proses monyuruah (menyampaikan kehendak). Kedua, proses timbang tando, setelah acara tukar menukar selesai maka dilanjutkan pemberian uang siriah oleh pihak laki- laki kepada niniak mamak perempuan berjumlah Rp. 600. 000. Sanksi bagi yang melanggar diakibatkan terjadi penundaan perkawinan yang sudah ditetapkan oleh kesepakatan bersama niniak mamak di Nagari Langsat Kadap. Tinjauan <em>‘urf</em> terhadap keberadaan <em>uang siriah</em> dalam timbang tando adalah termasuk kepada golongan <em>‘Urf </em>Shahih, hal ini berdasarkan syarat-syarat <em>‘Urf </em>dijadikan sebagai sumber hukum Islam yaitu, adat tersebut bernilai maslahat karena berdampak baik kepada pihak keluarga laki-laki dan pihak keluarga perempuan. Dengan adanya uang siriah ini memperlihatkan keseriusan seorang laki-laki menikahi seorang perempuan, memperlihatkan tanggung jawab laki-laki, terjailnnya silaturahmi dengan niniak mamak. Bagi keluarga yang keberatan atau tidak mampu seharusnya ditanggung bersama oleh niniak mamak pihak laki- laki sebagai ta’aun atau tolong menolong, supaya tidak mendapat sanksi dan penundaan perkawinan.</p>

<div class="WordSection1"><pre><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> Tulisan ini mebahas mengenai asbab an-Nuzul dalam tafsir al-Misbah dalam surat al-Baqarah. Asbab an-Nuzul merupakan peristiwa yang melatarbelakangi turunnya ayat-ayat Alquran. Baik itu berupa pertanyaan, pernyataan atau jawaban dari suatu hukum kejadian yang timbul dari kejadian tersebut. Metode yang diterapkan dalam tulisan ini adalah metode analisis-deskriptif. Tujuan dari tulisan ini akan mengungkap pengertian an-Nuzul asbab, biografi, sekilas tafsir kitab al-Misbah, berapa as-an-Nuzul asbab dalam tafsir al-Misbah, dan penggunaan -Nuzul asbab dalam tafsir al-Misbah. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah asbab an-Nuzul dalam kitab tafsir al-Misbah terdapat 7 ayat di dalam surat al-Baqarah yang berjumlah 286 ayat. Dalam kitab tafsir al-Misbah M. Quraish Shihab tidak memberikan secara detail mengenai asbab an-Nuzul di kitab tafsirnya. Karena masing-masing ayat dalam Alquran yang turun dan sampai Nabi Muhammad Saw. tidak sepenuhnya ada kausalitas dalam ayat tersebut. Dan M. Whether it is in the form of questions, statements or answers from a law of events arising from the incident. The method used in this paper is descriptive-analysis method. The purpose of this paper will reveal the definition of an-Nuzul asbab, biography, a glimpse of the book of interpretation of al-Misbah, how many as-an-Nuzul asbab in the interpretation of al-Misbah, and the use of an-Nuzul asbab in the interpretation of al-Misbah. The result of this research is asbab an-Nuzul in the book of tafsir al-Misbah, there are 7 verses in Surah al-Baqarah, totaling 286 verses. In the commentary book al-Misbah M. Quraish Shihab does not provide details about the asbab an-Nuzul in his commentary book. Because each verse in the Koran that came down and reached the Prophet Muhammad. there is absolutely no causality in the verse. And M. <p><em>Implementasi Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Dharmasraya nomor 19 tahun 2007 tentang pengolahan dan pengusahaan pertambangan dan energi Masih banyak para penambang liar melakukan usaha pertambangan yang tidak sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku sehingga memberikan dampak yang buruk bagi lingkungan sekitar dan daerah aliran sungai. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research), yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan di Nagari Siguntur Kecamatan Sitiung Kabupaten Dharmasraya. Sumber data dari penelitian ini terdiri dari sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan wawancara yang dilakukan oleh penulis dengan Bapak Kepala Bagian Hukum Kantor Bupati Kabupaten Dharnasraya, Bapak Kepala Bidang Penataan dan Penegakan Hukum Lingkungan hidup Kabupaten Dharmasraya, dan unsur masyarakat di Nagari Siguntur dan dokumentasidisini adalah mengacu pada material (bahan) seperti, Perda Kabupaten Dharmasraya Nomor 19 tahun 2007. Sejumlah besar fakta dan data tersimpan dalam bahan yang berbentuk dokumentasi. Penelitian yang penulis lakukan ditemukan bahwa, Implementasi Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Dharmasraya Nomor 19 Tahun 2007 tentang pengolahan dan pengusahaan pertambangan dan energi tidak terlaksana dengan baik. Kendala yang dihadapi pemerintah adalah ketika masyarakat mengetahui peraturan yang telah dibuat, dan mereka para penambang liar tidak mengindahkan sosialisasi yang disampaikan Pemerintah Daerah. Kedua pandangansiyasah dusturiyah terhadap implementasi Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Dharmasraya nomor 19 tahun 2007 dimana kinerja kepemimpinan yang belum memiliki sifat- sifat seorang pemimpin belum dimiliki secara keseluruhan.</em></p><strong><em>Kata kunci: </em></strong><em>Implementasi PERDA, Pertambangan Emas Ilegal, Siyasah Dusturiyah</em>

<p>Jurusan Hukum Tata Negara, Fakultas Syariah, Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Batusangkar tahun akademik 2020. Dalam penulisan skripsi ini yang menjadi fokus penelitian adalah bagaimana Peranan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dalam pelaksanaan Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Dharmasraya Nomor 9 Tahun 2015 Tentang Pengelolaan Sampah ditengah- tengah masyarakat tepatnya di Kecamatan Sungai Rumbai. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan <em>(field research), </em>yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan di Kantor Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Dharmasraya. Sumber data dari penelitian ini terdiri dari sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Sumber data primer yaitu, Kasi Bidang Penataan Dan Pentaatan Lingkungan Hidup, Kasi Bidang Pengelolaan Sampah Dan Limbah B3, Dan Masyarakat Serta Tim Kebersihan Di Kecamatan Sungai Rumbai. Sedangkan sumber data sekunder dari penelitian ini yaitu Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Dharmasraya Nomor 9 Tahun 2015 Tentang Pengelolaan Sampah, Peraturan Bupati Nomor 51 Tahun 2019 Tentang Kedudukan, Susunan Organisasi, Tugas, Fungsi, Uraian Tugas Jabatan Serta Tata Kerja Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Dharmasraya dan beberapa buku. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Setelah data tersebut diperoleh selanjutnya data tersebut di analisa menggunakan analisa <em>kualitatif</em>. Untuk menjamin keabsahan data yang diperoleh penulis menggunakan metode <em>triangulasi </em>data. Penelitian yang penulis lakukan ditemukan bahwa, Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Dharmasraya mempunyai peranan dalam mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan dengan melakukan pengawasan izin mengendalikan lingkungan, penyedian sarana dan prasarana tempat pengelolaan sampah serta memberikan sosialisasi kepada pelaku kegiatan pengelolaan sampah namun pelaksanaannya masih belum optimal dilakukan oleh Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Dharmasraya. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari kurang optimalnya Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dalam pelaksanaan peranannya memberikan dampak negatif yaitu bagi masyarakat yang seharusnya mendapatkan layanan tempat pengelolaan sampah jadi tidak terlayani dikarenakan kurangnya dana yang tersedia serta terbatasnya jumlah tenaga kerja membuat Dinas Lingkungan Hidup tidak bisa berkerja secara optimal. Perspektif <em>Fiqh Siyasah Dusturiyah </em>terhadap Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Dharmasraya Nomor 9 Tahun 2015 Tentang Pengelolaan Sampah. Dalam Islam tidak ada larangan secara khusus mengatur tentang pengelolaan sampah, namun hukumnya akan haram jika menimbulkan bahaya yang mengancam jiwa, akal, harta, keturunan, agama, dan negara.</p>

<p>Studi ini mengkaji tentang persepsi masyarakat dan pemanfaatan terhadap harta bersama bagi istri yang bekerja di Jorong Padang Koto Tuo Mungka Kecamatan Mungka ditinjau dari Hukum Keluarga Islam. Permasalahannya adalah banyaknya para istri di Jorong Padang Koto Tuo yang menjadi pencari nafkah utama. Dari permasalahan tersebut muncul pertanyaan Bagaimana Tinjauan Hukum Keluarga Islam terhadap persepsi masyarakat dan pemanfaatan terhadap harta bersama tersebut. Penulisan ini merupakan penulisan lapangan. Data/bahan diperoleh dari wawancara. Setelah data terkumpul diolah dengan cara deskriptif. Dan dianalisi dengan cara pengolahan data kualitatif yaitu penguraian atau penggambaran secara tertulis tanpa menggunakan angka-angka atau statistik. Penulisan ini menemukan hasil bahwa istri yang menjadi pencari nafkah utama itu memahami perihal harta bersama tidak bertentangan dengan yang tercantum di dalam Kompilasi Hukum Islam dan Undang-undang Perkawinan serta memanfaatan secara bersama apa yang didapatnya untuk kebutuhan keluarga sehingga apa yang dilakukan tersebut merupakan <em>tabarru’</em> bagi istri. Serta harta yang diperoleh tersebut dipergunakan untuk kebutuhan keluarga terutama anak-anaknya.<strong></strong></p>

<em>This study aimed to improve students’ public speaking skills at the English Education Department (JTBI) of IAIN Batusangkar through the use of videotaped feedback. The research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) whose participants were the fourth semester students. The data were collected through observation, test, and interviews and were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The findings shows that the use of videotaped feedback improved the students’ public speaking skills in which the average score increased from 6.95714 (Mid Term Test) to 7.026 (Final Test). This implies that there was an increase in the ability of students from the level of need improvement to the satisfactory. Even in the aspects of Introduction, Body, Conclusion and Time, which were the focuses of this class action research, there were increases from 7.38, 7.1, 6,8, and 6.6 (UTS) to 8, 7.5, 7,3 and 7.2 (UAS) respectively. It also means that there were increases in students’ public speaking skills in all four aspects, which were from satisfactory (Introduction, Body), and need improvement (Conclusion, Time) to good (Introduction), and satisfactory (Body, Conclusion and Time). It is expected that the results of this study can be applied to other aspects of public speaking skills and other similar subjects.</em>

<p><em>The purpose of this study is to determine the assessment of </em><em>students’ </em><em>attitude of science subjects in several indicators. This type of research is quantitative research with inferential statistical data. This study involved two different schools, namely SMP 17 Batanghari Regency with a sample obtained by 140 students and SMP 3 Muaro Jambi with a sample of 145 students. Th</em><em>e students’ attitudes were noticed in</em><em> several indicators, namely the social implications of science, the adoption of science attitudes and the enjoyment of learning science. </em><em>As</em><em> the result</em><em>, </em><em>from the three indicators</em><em>, the attitude of the SMP 3 Muaro Jambi students were dominantly in good category, </em><em>wh</em><em>ereas those of the </em><em>students in Batanghari District</em><em> were </em><em>dominant</em><em>ly</em><em> </em><em>in</em><em> quite good</em><em> category. In conclusion, there were </em><em> differences</em><em> between the two school students’ attitude toward natural science which was </em><em>reinforced by the results of t tests that have been done</em><em>.</em></p>

<p><strong><em></em></strong><em>Smart parenting is a pattern of children's education, that parents or caregivers accompany and guide the growth of children towards the creation of a golden generation in accordance with the expectations of all parties. The focus of this research lies in the effort to implement smart parenting in improving the spiritual intelligence of students at MTs Nabil Husein Samarinda and MTs Al Mujahidin Samarinda.</em><em> This research used a qualitative approach with case study. The results show that the implementation of smart parenting in improving the spiritual intelligence of students at MTs Nabil Husein Samarinda and MTs Al Mujahidin Samarinda is carried out in a planned and systematic manner. </em><em>The steps taken to implement smart parenting </em><em>were</em><em>; 1) planning smart parenting activities designed by the madrasa</em><em>h</em><em> by involving all existing components, 2) implementng smart parenting as a form of implementation of the existing planning design, and 3) evaluating smart parenting activities with the principles of openness, objectivity and based on continuous improvement. The results of these activities appear on the students’ discipline behavior, adherence to existing regulations and responsibility.</em><em> </em><em></em></p>
