The discussion on education will never be separated from the discussion of the curriculum. Both are compared to two sides of a coin that can not be separated. The curriculum is one important component in the world of education in addition to other components that play an active role in the success of achieving educational goals. The applied curriculum must be able to equip students with abilities that are key for them in facing the latest challenges that are increasingly complex and diverse. The curriculum currently applied in Indonesia is the 2013 Curriculum (Kurtilas), which was subsequently revised and began to be implemented in 2017 as the 2013 Revised Curriculum. This paper will explain the implementation of the substance of the curriculum in Indonesia and its integration in facing the era of society 5.0. The curriculum in Indonesia is expected to be relevant to the development of science and technology and IMTAK and be able to integrate the values of education in students in social life in the era of society 5.0 so as to realize the creation of a harmonious and prosperous society.

This study aims at describing types of criticism strategy employed by student-teachers in giving feedback on teaching performance in Microteaching class. The utterances of student-observers when giving feedback to the student-teachers were recorded. Then, the utterances were analyzed to find out the types of criticism strategy employed by the student-observers by applying Miles and Hubberman theory. The results show that the student-observers exploited three strategies for direct criticism, namely (1) statement of the problem, (2) statement of difficulty and (3) consequences; whereas for indirect criticism, they also used three strategies, i.e. (1) demand for change, (2) suggestion for change and (3) correction.

The problem lied on students’ creativity and imagination in writing narrative text. The third semester students of English Teaching Department of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of IAIN Batusangkar, particularly TBI C often suffered this classic problem. They took times when they were asked to write narrative text. Indeed, they were easily getting bored with unattractive and unchallenging activity in the writing class. This research was aimed at proposing storybird web 2.0 tool as an excelent solution. The design of the research was classroom action research with two cycles. In conducting the research, the researcher used observation form, field notes, questionnaire, and writing test as the instrument. The researcher was also helpped by collaborators in conducting each cycles of the research. The data of this research were analyzed by using two tecniques. The quantitative data was analyzed by using the students’ mean score gained by the students in writing test. Meanwhile, the qualitative data was analyzed through the data obtained from observation, and field notes. At the end, the findings showed that the students’ narrative writing skill was enhanced by using storybird web 2.0 tool. At the first cycle, the enhancement was about 34% and at the second cyle the improvement was much better. It was about 50%. The enhancement could be predicted since storybird web 2.0 tool gives significant benefits on narrative writing. Then, the students’ voice on the use of storybird web 2.0 tool were positive ones. They thought storybird web 2.0 tool was useful for them to gather ideas. Therefore, it can be concluded that using storybird web 2.0 tool can enhance students’ narrative writing skill.

This writing in the background by the problem of students who are still sitting on the school bench is the future owner of society 5.0, but it can be seen that most of them are not ready to face this period can be proven by the ability of students still unable to solve the simple problems given by educators when in the learning process. The purpose of this paper is to describe the discovery learning model to foster students' critical thinking and creativity in solving problems in order to be able to adapt in the era of society 5.0. The method used for this study is literature study. The technique of collecting data is by studying literature. Data analysis is analyzed qualitatively by the nominative deductive thinking method. The results of this paper illustrate that using discovery learning models can lead to the ability to think critically and the creativity of students in solving problems so that they are able to adapt to the era of society 5.0, and this can also be a reference for educators to be able to provoke students' abilities in solving problems especially in the learning process by using the discovery learning model so that this can be a provision for students to face challenges in the era of society 5.0.

As a zoon politicon creature, humans always develop and follow the pattern of life and life accompanied by various innovations in the form of science and information technology. Advances in information technology in particular have changed the face of human life as zoon politicon in various sectors such as the economic and the education. One important phase in technological development is the emergence of the 4th wave of industrial revolution, or better known as industrial revolution 4.0. The 4.0 industrial revolution is one of Germany's modern technological strategies in 2020 (Germany’s High-Tech Strategy 2020). The strategy is implemented through improving manufacturing sector technology, creating a consistent strategic policy framework, and setting certain priorities in the face of global competition. Industry 4.0 is not yet over and suddenly society 5.0 appears. Society 5.0 was first echoed by the Japanese State, where Society 5.0 was the answer to the challenges that arose due to the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This development provides unrest for writers related to the readiness of zoon politicon to deal with every phase of life development like this. The study related to human readiness in facing industrial revolution 5.0 will be comprehensively discussed in this article.

This study aims to describe students' perceptions of feedback given by lecturers to improve teaching skills in the Micro Teaching class. Feedback is a strategic way chosen by lecturers to evaluate students’ teaching performance. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population were seventh semester students of the English Teaching Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAIN Batusangkar academic year 2017/2018 by involving 38 students as sample and 9 students as tried-out sample using simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire consisted of 48 statements. Then to analyze the data, the researchers interpreted the data used Djemaris. The results of the study described that students' perceptions on feedback given by lecturers in the Micro Teaching class were strongly positive (76.31%) and positive (23.68%). This means that generally, students' perceptions on the feedback given by lecturers in improving teaching skills in the micro teaching class are very good.

<em>The research aims to find out the levels of questions used by an English teacher for mid-semester reading test for the second graders in SMA 2 Padang in accordance Anderson’s and Karthwohl’s taxonomy (2001). The participant was chosen based on purposive sampling. This is a descriptive research. The data of the research were obtained from documents analysis. Evaluation of the question sheets were analyzed one by one. After that, the data were analyzed, grouped, and explained based on the research aims. The results of this research show that the teacher formulated on three levels of questions. They are the questions remembering (46.67%), understanding (36.66%), and applying (16.67%). From the result, it can be concluded almost half of the questions are in the form of remembering and least of them for applying.</em>

<p><em>This research is motivated by the low mathematical representation ability of students in solving mathematical problem solving questions based on TIMSS data and facts in the field. The study aims to analyze the mathematical representation ability of MTsN Batusangkar students visually, verbally and symbolically in solving mathematical problem solving problems. This field research uses descriptive method. The instrument used is a description question and interview guide. Quantitative data based on test results were analyzed to determine the predicate of mathematical representation ability, while Miles and Huberman model wwas used to analyze qualitative data from interviews. The results show that students' mathematical visual and symbolic abilities are satisfactory, while verbal mathematical representations are less satisfactory.</em></p>

<p><em>This research is motivated by the invisibility of creativity yet tutors in </em><em>Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar</em><em> (SKB). This study aims to reveal about the contribution of the working climate and work motivation on creativity tutors </em><em>Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar</em><em> (SKB) in the region Badger </em><em>Luak Nan Tigo</em><em>West Sumatra Province. Based on the problems and goals to be achieved, this study used a quantitative method that aims to examine the relationship between the three variables above are correlational against a population of 42 tutors with a sample size of 28 people. Sample selection is done through four stages with the steps as follows: (1) Identify strata of the population, (2) Calculate the proportion of strata, (3) determine the sample size, and (4) determining the subject of research. To do research instruments (1) Measurement Scale, (2) Preparation of Instrument, and (3) Test Instruments. Data collected by distributing a questionnaire in the form of questionnaires to tutors selected as the study sample. The research data were processed and analyzed by using the Correlation Technique and Multiple Linear Regression Technique. Data analysis was performed with the aid of a computer program SPSS version 18.0 For Windows, to perform requirements analysis, and hypothesis testing. Results of the analysis showed that (1) contribute to the climate of creativity tutors, (2) contribute to the creative work motivation tutors, and (3) work climate and work motivation together also contribute to the creativity tutors.</em><strong><em></em></strong></p>

<p><em>The problem in this research is the cultivation of character values </em><em></em><em>by PAI teacher through storytelling and character values </em><em></em><em>any implanted through storytelling. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of cultivation of character values </em><em></em><em>in Islamic education through storytelling. The method used a qualitative research method with type research field research is descriptive qualitative. The data source is the PAI teacher. The research location is in SD N 07 Sumanik Salimpaung District of Tanah Datar. Namely data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. Data processing techniques by collecting data, once collected then checked and diklasifiasikan, so make easy in data processing. Analysis of the data used is, selecting the data, classifying the data, content analysis, and conclusion. Technique authenticity of data is triangulation is using a variety of sources, such as interviews with respondents and researcher observation and documentation. The results showed that the learning process in primary PAI SD N 07 Sumanik Salimpaung District of Tanah Datar, through storytelling in the cultivation of character values </em><em></em><em>categorized as good, with storytelling techniques without the help of using media images. However, there are some components of storytelling process that has not been done as it should be, as in the stage of arranging the seating of students, at this stage of asking the students to retell the stories that have been submitted. From the stories presented by the teacher in the classroom learning process PAI their character values </em><em></em><em>are imparted to students, among others: (1) The value of character religious, (2) honest, (3) tolerance, (4) hard work, ( 5) curiosity, (6) the national spirit, (7) recognize excellence, (8) friends / communicative, (9) love peace, (10) social care, and (11) of responsibility. While the character values </em><em></em><em>(1) discipline, (2) independent, (3) democratic, (4) likes to read, (5) love of the homeland, (6) creative, and (7) to care for the environment has not seen imparted to students through methods of the story told.</em></p>

<p><em>This research to describe the management of the principal in realizing the adiwiyata school in SD Negeri 02 Tanah Pak Lambik Padang Panjang City. This study is qualitative. Data collection is done through observation, interview and documentation study. The results showed that in realizing the adiwiyata program at SD Negeri 02 Tanah Pak Lambik, various management functions were applied by the principal. Starting from the planning, organizing, implementation and control performed by the principal, then with the hard work of the principal and all related elements can be realized adiwiyata program di SD Negeri 02 Tanah Pak Lambik.</em><em></em></p>

<em>This research is aimed at describing the leadership of the Head Master of MTsN Sungayang in achieving a better quality school. The research applied a qualitative paradigm. The techniques of data collection of this study were interviews, observation and documentary study. The technique of data analysis applied the interactive model by Miles and Huberman. For checking data trustwohiness, triangulation technique was applie, namely by comparing the results of observation data with those of interview, and documentation. The findings of the study show that the school principal plans the programs, performing short speeches (muhadaroh) in the Madrasah, providing religious vocabulary, habituating the students to perform Dhuha prayer and noon prayer together, evaluating classrooms cleanliness, making Madrasah wall magazine, creating Madrasah Health Unit (UKS), performing activities of Sports and Arts, of social like takziyah, visiting the sick people, and collecting money for social funds.</em>

<p><em>This study was conducted because of the need for the development of the emotional potential in the learning process conducted by teachers of Islamic Education at SMP N 29 Padang. The purpose of this study is to determine the efforts undertaken by teachers of Islamic Religious Education develop the emotional potential of students in improving the learning process. The research method used is field research is descriptive. In this research has not seen efforts of Islamic religious teachers in developing the emotional potential of their students, including indication is that students have not yet felt a really enjoyable learning atmosphere such as learning PAIKEM, but instead students feel the lack of learning atmosphere, full of uneasiness, Not well developed and maximal.</em></p>

<p><em>This reaserch was done to know about the Strategy headmaster MAN Gunung Padang Panjang increasing value of accreditation.</em><em>This study uses a qualitative method using a case study perspective deskriptif.Teknik data collection in the form of observation, interviews and documentation study.The results of this study, 1). Strategy headmaster in improving the value of accreditation: a) Establish a madrasah accreditation team. b) Uniting the whole perception of madrasah stakeholder to increase the value of accreditation. c) develop a vision and mission and strategic plan of the madrasah. d) Inviting community leaders actively promote madrasah.e). Every effort to improve education standard eight 2). Barriers faced by the headmaster is: a) The attitude of teachers varies proactive in achieving the implementation of the vision and mission of the madrasas., B). Professionalism of teachers who have not honed well. c). There are still teachers who like comfortable or just come madrasah when teaching hours. d). There is still a teacher less concerned about the activities of the madrasas, facilities and infrastructure is not yet complete. 3). Implementation of the strategy undertaken headmaster: a) Make a commitment with educators and stakeholders to advance the institution, b) Develop EDS, c) vision and mission madrasah, d) .make strategic plan, e) Establish Accreditation Team , f) empower school committee,and g) to collaborate with relevant agencies.</em></p>

<p><em>At a shop located in the Village Tanjung Durian Kec. Buay Readers Kab. OKUS that sells various kinds of basic necessities of daily living, in this village there are 5 stores that sell various types of staples. The main problem lies in the accounts receivable given by the shopkeepers to the community in the village, how big is the influence, then do the shopkeepers practice the accounts payable according to Islamic principles, how is the availability of business capital of the shopkeepers in Nusamakmur village, and whether in the listing accounts payable in accordance with the principles of Islam that is recording correctly. The method used is quantitative method and qualitative method that is qualitative method is non statistical analysis which assist in research. The data obtained either in the form of numbers or in the form of tables and then interpreted well in accordance with the data obtained while the quantitative method is the analysis using statistical assistance to assist in research in calculating the figures to analyze the data obtained. Based on the results of research known methods of recording of the availability of business capital sales of staple goods Tanjung Durian Village Kec. Buay Readers Kab. OKUS does not fit the perspective of Islam this is shown from the financial statements of the data to five stores of staple goods two of which do not have complete financial statements of Marikun store and shop Lukman. Furthermore, there is a positive effect of trade receivables on the availability of venture capital sales, this is indicated from the analysis of accounts receivable turnover data from Jaaris shop 9.75 times or rounded up to (10 times) trade receivables turnover from Arifin shop 3.74 times rounded to become (4 times) the receivable turnover of shop of Muscah 16,92 rounded into (17 times). There is a positive negative effect of the turnover of accounts receivable to the capitalization of the sale of business is shown from the analysis of the financial statements of the store Jaemah by 4.32 times or 5 times, in turn, Arifin shop 3.55 times or 4 times and Musriah shop of 2, 31 times or 3 times in rotation.</em></p>

<p>In Islamic education, evaluation is one component of the Islamic education system that must be done systematically and planned as a tool to measure success or targets to be achieved in the process of Islamic education and learning process that is expected to be achieved by learners. Evaluation in Islamic education certainly refers to the source of Islamic teachings themselves, namely Qur'an and Hadith. Related to the source of Islamic teachings both forms of evaluation are contained in many hadiths conveyed by the Prophet, whether in the form of stories or stories or in the form of the words of the Prophet when evaluating the Companions to the tasks that have been mandated to them or evaluating the memorization or knowledge of friends who have taught the Prophet, and various other forms of evaluation contained in the hadiths of the Prophet contained in various books of hadith. To obtain information on this tradition is done tracking by using takhrîj method of hadith, so will be met the hadiths of the Prophet who contains stories that contain elements of evaluation in various books of Hadith. These hadiths analyzed the quality of their history and linked it with evaluation in Islamic education.</p>

<p><em>This paper aims to internalize the character of the Caliph Umar bin Abdul Aziz as the leader of Muslims and its influence on the government of Dawlah Bani Umayyah, and to describe the wisdom of Umar ibn 'Abd al' Aziz in the field of religion, economy and social society. In this paper will be discussed about the Character 'Umar as the leader of Muslims related to religious matters, related to economic issues, and related to social issues. The research that the authors carried out was literature research, which relates to Karater Umar ibn 'Abd al' Aziz as the leader of Muslims and its influence on the Dawlah Bani Umayyah government in Historical reviews. The method that writer use in research is by approach of content analysis (content rate, that is research which is deep discussion to content of written or printed information either in book form or other with qualitative approach). The results show that the character of 'Umar ibn' Abd al 'Aziz in the field of religion, Pengkodifikasian hadis officially done during the reign of' Umar ibn 'Abd al' Aziz,. Umar ibn Abd Aziz always discipline in establishing the prayer that he built as beautiful as possible with all the solemnity and kekhusu'an according to the way the Prophet performed his prayer. In the economic field, 'Umar stopped tax collection from newly converted Christians, so the Christians converted to Islam. Poverty, poverty has been overcome during the reign of this caliph, it may be said that those who want to spend zakat difficult to get the people who are entitled to receive it. In the social field, Generalize the status between Arabs and non-Arab Muslim groups known as mawali. 'Umar ibn' Abd al 'Aziz also ordered to stop the condemnation of Ali in the pulpits of Friday.</em></p>

<p><em>This paper demonstrates how the Islamic education has been used to reflect social problems in the region. The paper argues that decadency and the use of drugs and other social problems has enabled the regional governments to engage in Islamic education. The paper suggests that the involvement was driven by the capacity to reduce fears of social problems in the society. It also argues that the other mechanism to solve social problems are overlooked as the paper presents availability of jobs concerning at customers’ satisfaction would overcome social problems.</em></p>

<p><em>This paper will elaborate the idea and the effort of Busthanul Arifin in the process of formalizing Islamic Law into an Indonesian national law. The heritage of colonial law has hindered the agenda of Islamization of law in Indonesia mostly by the negative reaction of the ruler. This fact consequence to an uneasy relation between Islam and Political ruler as it is shown along the Indonesian independent era. In this ’war of interest’, most of the time Indonesian Muslim should subjugate their interest. Learned from this trouble relation of Islam and political power in the early of independent era, Bustanul Arifin shoud be marked for his effort to melt the tension and tries to persuade the Indonesian new order ruler in order to obtain and fulfill the aspiration of Muslim people.</em></p>
