Abstrak
Teachers in schools usually employ methods that are less able to activate the<br />students' knowledge. As a consequence, many students having difficulty in learning<br />science and mathematics. Based on this problem, it is obviously neededthe<br />alternatives methods that allow students to construct their own knowledge. The<br />Method is peer tutoring. Using this method will encourage students‟ activity and<br />achievement. Some research indicated that the method of peer tutoring provides<br />significant influence on student learning outcomes. Peer tutoring is one form of<br />cooperative learning method that can be used to improve student learning outcomes,<br />because the application of peer tutoring on learning allows each student gets more<br />attention from the tutor and have plenty of time to talk or listen during lessons.
