The research problem was the low students‟ capacity and activity in thematic<br />material Sumber Energi Gerak in the first grade at SDN 38 Tigo Jangko due to<br />conventional lecture method. Therefore it needed an innovative teaching which is<br />attractive, such as picture and picture method. This research was a Classroom Action<br />Research (CAR). The research procedure consisted of planning, implementation,<br />observation and reflection. The research data obtained through writing test and<br />observation sheet. Subjects were students of class I of the school year 2015/2016 as<br />many as 26 people. The research shows that learning outcomes of thematic material<br />Sumber Energi Gerak in the first grade at SDN 38 Tigo Jangko with picture and<br />picture methods increases by 92%. Teacher‟s activities for the last cycle increased to<br />91%. Students‟ activity increased to 93%. Analysis of experimental data showed that<br />the method of picture and picture can improve thematic learning outcomes with the<br />theme Lingkungan specifically Sumber Energi Gerak in the first grade at SDN 38<br />Tigo Jangko Lintau Buo Subdistrict.

The students‟ success in learning is not only dependent on their own ability. There<br />are a number of factors that can cause; they are facilitation, teachers competence,<br />students intelligence, infrastructure, and learning process. The dominant factor are<br />teachers and the students, teachers as educators should be master in all teacher<br />competences especially pedagogy competence. Pedagogic competence relates to the<br />way how to make a plan, arrange teaching strategy, and conduct a good teaching and<br />learning process. In performing his task the teacher should understand the students‟<br />characteristics well, in order to guide teacher in teaching and learning process.<br />Student‟s intelligences not only depend on his heredity but also environment factors.<br />Individual development is the effect of heredity and environment aspects, both are<br />equally instrumental to development of individual. These understandings would be<br />beneficial in order to construct the learning strategy. The teachers need to reunderstand<br />about student characteristics and multiple intelligences, and know the<br />way to optimize existing intelligence of the students.

Nowadays, Indonesia is up against human resources crisis, specifically the character<br />problem. The vision, mission, approach, strategies, and goals of character education<br />are not clear and ambiguous. Consequently, the character education in formal and nonformal<br />schools does not run effectively. Character is a relatively permanent mental<br />nature which influences people‟s thought, acts, and behaviors, good or bad. 2045<br />generation is called “characterized golden generation” and should have positive<br />behaviors, akhlakul karimah, broad mind-set, high commitment, and good competence<br />based on al-Qur‟an and Sunnah. Positif behavior is the reflection of the value of<br />Pancasila and human being. Akhlakul karimah is a good character without thought.<br />Commitment is loyalty. And competence is professionalism. The characters that 2045<br />golden generation should have are the main power to develop Indonesia as a gorgeous,<br />glorious, and prestigious country. The design of character education is needed to<br />prepare the 2045 golden generation.

The concept of interconnection is a new and basic paradigm in science structure in<br />the last decade. One of the wellknown ulama (islamic scholar), Syatibi, initiated<br />integration and interconnection in the area of islamic knowledge. He is able to<br />syncronize religion, philosphy and science. His monumental words give phylosopical<br />formulation in islamic areas so called alkullyad (Universal Principle). The purpose<br />of islamic universal (Maqashid Syariah) is implemented in the form of primary ( Aldharuriyat)<br />, Secundary (al-hajiyat) and Tertiery (al-tahsiniyat). Ideally, in syatibis<br />view, the concept of Alkuliyat should cover all of the aspects of islamic studies.

Indonesia is a large country and is rich in natural resources potential. Indonesia<br />greatness characterized by the extent of the area, population and strategic location in<br />the middle of the equator. While the rich natural resources of Indonesia are<br />characterized by the potential of the land, sea and air is very large. But it is<br />recognized that the greatness and richness of Indonesia have not been managed<br />properly so as not maximized to improve the welfare of society. The most important<br />part of the greatness of Indonesia is the number of the younger generation or the<br />generation of productive gold (golden generation) are quite high. It is estimated that<br />the demographic bonus (demographic devided) in 2010-2035 the number of<br />generation of gold is much higher than the number of elderly and children, which is<br />about 100 million people. However, this generation can also be a disaster (a<br />demographic disaster) if not qualified.Golden generation should be prepared from<br />now through education. In addition to establishing the competence of knowledge<br />(cognitive) and skills (psychomotor), it is also very important balance by building<br />character (affective). Education today can not answer fully the efforts to form a<br />golden generation for so many challenges and obstacles, such as juvenile<br />delinquency, drugs, promiscuity, and so forth. In the future It needs to be improved<br />character development (character building) at all levels of education to prepare<br />generations of gold (E) nergik, (M) ultitalenta, (A) ktif and (S) pritual. This<br />commitment needs to be agreed upon by the government, private and public. The aim<br />is to commemorate 100 years of the age of independence of the Republic of Indonesia<br />or Indonesian gold by 2045.

The emergence of China and India as major competitors like American countries in<br />the economic field is part of the compensation amount of the population in both<br />countries so that these countries into the calculation for other countries. In the year<br />2045 there will be a major phenomenon in the country of Indonesia, namely the<br />demographic bonus (demographic dividend), which is the number of productive age<br />population will dominate the population of Indonesia. Predicted number of<br />Indonesian people aged 35-45 years old in the year 2045 will be amounted to 45<br />million and those aged 45-59 years amounted to 43 million. Various efforts should be<br />conducted to face these phenomena through the improvement of the quality of Human<br />Resources which has a strategic role in any efforts towards national development.<br />The Indonesian government is trying to make it happen with the launch of Indonesia's<br />Golden Generation program. In this paper the author highlighs the contribution of<br />Islamic institutions to realize the golden generation of Indonesia and their efforts to<br />make it happen in the context of Islamization (Qur'an and Hadith).

Bunuh diri suatu fenomena yang sering ditemui dalam kehidupan ini, Risiko bunuh diri perlu diketahui agar kasus bunuh diri tidak semakin bertambah. Perlu ada penanganan teristimewa pencegahan agar risiko yang berpotensi untuk terjadinya bunuh diri berkurang. Tekhnik Bibliotherapy dalam konseling dengan pendekatan kelompok adalah salah satu teknik yang amat efektif dalam pencegahan atau pengurangan risiko bunuh diri sebagaimana dipraktekkan pada satu sekolah lanjutan pertama.

<em>The major problem of education in Indonesia is the low quality in any levels, kinds and units of education, such as pre-school, primary, secondary and higher education, including Islamic education. Data show that there was no significant changes in general though few schools and madrasahs show promising quality improvement. Some students from big cities in Indonesia were awarded medals in international Olympic. This article which is inspired by a seminar on management of empowerment in improving quality of education discusses the nature of such management, investigates various factors of involution in education, various efforts in reinventing education quality improvement and reconstruct management of empowerment for the future.</em>

This research, therefore, employed qualitative approach and analyzed by means of reflective, participative and collaborative studies. The setting of the research was MTsN Paninjauan by employing 2 cycles, each of which consisted of 4 meetings. In cycle 1, the students were not familiar with learning condition where communicative practices were applied and therefore were explained to them the principles so that the students and teachers got more familiar with. Observing on the students’ speaking it was found that students’ average improvement was 1.14 with average achievement was 48.1%. Al-Qur‟an is Islam reference in managing all aspects of human life, in the world or<br />after life, including education aspect. The goal of education in Indonesia is to develop<br />the students‟ capacity to form a better human; deep faith to God, has certain<br />characters, educated, competence, creative, autonomous, and be responsible (UU<br />Sisdiknas 2003). To reach the goal, strategies are needed in instructional proses. One<br />of the strategies are inquiry strategy. Inquiry strategy is an instructional method used<br />to build the basic scientific thought (critical and analytical) on students, so the<br />students can study autonomously or in group as well. In inquiry process, the students<br />try to seek and find by themselves the knowledge concept and find a problem to be<br />solved logically and systematically. Before doing this strategy, teachers or educators<br />should prepare a problem to be discussed in the class and how to find the solution.<br />The teaching and learning process uses constructivist approach. Conceptually, Al-<br />Qur‟an has explained the basic of inquiry strategy in different sentences as said by<br />Allah SWT in Surah Al-Alaq ayah 1-5 by using the word “iqrak” (asking to read, and<br />understand), surah An-Naml ayat 64, by using the sentence “burhanakum” which<br />means bring the evidence or give rational argumentation, and surah Al-Fusilat ayah<br />53 by usng the sentence “sanurihum aayaatina” which means Allah will show human<br />being about His powers, that is why students are asked to watch the nature and social<br />phenomena critically.

This paper is motivated by the government's efforts to prepare for the golden<br />generation of 2045 in conjunction with the age of 100 years of Indonesia, which in<br />the period of 2012 through 2035 the Indonesian nation blessed with the potential of<br />human resources in the form of productive age population enormous number. During<br />that period, the next generation is at a point that is very productive, very valuable<br />and very valuable, so it needs to be managed and utilized properly in order to be a<br />qualified person, intelligent and competitive. Various efforts began in both the level<br />of concept and application, in order to prepare for the golden generation. Correcting<br />the learning model, revamping infrastructure, allocating sufficient funds for<br />education, including early childhood education intensified. Everything was done so<br />that the concept of the golden generation as the generation of energetic, independent,<br />multi talented, intelligent and have a good spiritual can be realized. But besides<br />preparing these things, the most important is by preparing them as individuals who<br />are physically fit and mentally. Physical and mental health will be achieved if the<br />rights of the child are met to the fullest and they are protected from violations of the<br />rights of children, as instructed in the law No. 23 of 2002 jo Law No. 35 of 2014.<br />Therefore, when children's rights are fulfilled and the violation of the child can be<br />minimized and even eliminated, of course, the golden generation of energetic, multi<br />talented, active and spiritual dreams to our common progress and prosperity of the<br />Indonesian can be realized.<br />Keywords: golden generation, the rights of children, violence

The problem in this research is a lack of the environment utilization as learning<br />resources for students in learning, it makes them tend to get bored in class. One<br />reason is the lack of teacher‟s competence in using the environment as a learning<br />resource. This type of research is a School Action Research. The research procedure<br />consisted of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data were<br />obtained from the assessment of teacher competence by using the environment as a<br />learning resource through the guidance of the principal at SDN 47 Pangian Lintau<br />Buo District of Tanah Datar. The results showes that the competence of teachers<br />using the environment as a learning resource through the guidance of the Principal<br />with the average results of the assessment was 95%. The principal activities in<br />conducting guidance was 100%. The teachers activities was 94%. The results of the<br />analysis shows that the guidance of the Principal can improve teacher competence in<br />using the environment as a learning resource in SDN 47 Pangian Lintau Buo District<br />of Tanah Datar.

The purpose of this study was to develop Contextual-based Management Function<br />(BMF) module, and its usability for IAIN Batusangkar students. The study used the<br />approach of Borg & Gall and the type of research was R & D (Research and<br />development) with the following steps: a.) needs analysis of the modules that comprise<br />the study syllabus, identification, study / library research / literature. B.)Early product<br />development to establish title, objectives, competencies and construct the module.<br />C.)Expert validation and revision comprising the products that will be developed.<br />d)Small group trial knowing the modules usability and these trials to evaluate it as a<br />base to make revisions. e)Large group trial consisted of 20 students as the development<br />of a product after a small group trial assessment, so that the module can be used. f).<br />The final product to be implemented or applied for students. As the results of subject<br />matter experts analysis, the material composition is not in accordance with the level of<br />difficulty and sentence there are not appropriate with EYD. According to the designing<br />expert that the design still needs improvement for image composition not in accordance<br />with the design / drafting. After testing the results of a large group of subject matter<br />experts, it was 100% usable, while the designing expert or drafting found it 100%<br />usable. This means management function module can already be "usable". The results<br />of interviews with students that using the learning modules are very pleasant, the<br />material in accordance with the objectives, sample images, enables students, the size of<br />the text is in conformity with the standards and terms in the module easy to understand,<br />and has been contextually based. The results expressed all 100 %, meaning that the<br />modules can already be "usable”

This research aimed at developing a model of islamic guidance and counseling to<br />improve students‟ insights and understanding toward the concept of family life in<br />anticipating potential child abuses. In order to achieve the aim, Research and<br />Development design was used. The Subjects of the research were students of Guidance<br />and Counseling Department of IAIN Batusangkar. The steps of the research were: 1)<br />Potentials and Problems, 2) Data Collection, 3) Prototype Design, 4) Prototype<br />Tryout, 5) Prototype Revision, dan 6) Limited Empirical Tryout of Revised<br />Prototype.The study showed that factors that contibuted to the child abuse were lack of<br />parents‟ understanding toward their responsibility as husbands, wives and parents.<br />Furthermore, parents keeping busy outside affects the harmony of their family. Lack of<br />information and skills for children on how to protect from and deal themselves with<br />potential abuses were other contributing factors. The Model of islamic guidance and<br />counseling is as follows: 1) Present Conditions, 2) Infomation and Content services,<br />and 3) Expected conditions.

Even though the students have enough knowledge in grammar and vocabulary, they<br />still do not want to speak, and they still have some mistakes in telling stories. This<br />classroom action research was conducted to see the improvement of students‟ ability<br />in writing narrative by using picture series. The research was done at SMAN 3<br />Padang Panjang, the second year social students 4 (XI IS 4) in the 2013/2014<br />academic year in three cycles. There were 27 students in this class. The data were<br />collected through pre-test, formative test and observation. The students were led to<br />tell the stories by using picture series, and then they were guided to tell the stories<br />well. Through observation and formative test, it seemed that the students liked and<br />enjoyed writing narrative. It could be seen from their achievement improved from<br />cycle to cycle and from their test results. In conclusion, the students‟ writing ability<br />can be improved if they know what and how to speak, and the use of the appropriate<br />teaching aids is very important. One of teaching aids that can be used to enhance<br />students‟ ability in writing narrative is picture series. It is suggested to English<br />teachers to use picture series in teaching narrative.

Insulin has an effect on the metabolism of the body. There are significant physiological changes in the body when insulin deficiency or excess. This paper to discusses about the relationship insulin with metabolism of the body through a literature review and mini research. Is the body condition if the excess or deficiency of insulin? The above questions will be answered through the review authors in this article. Weitz report (2007) about the experience of observation insulin shock therapy in patients with schizophrenia. Then, followed by reports of a mini research that have been conducted on insulin shock in fish. <p>The research on the extraction of iron (III) aims at finding the best condition of extraction of iron (III) using oksin (8-hidroksikuinolin) as the complement. It was done by setting the oksin concentration, pH, and the appropriate solvent. The extraction process was done in a separating funnel. The reaction occurs when the water phase containing ions of iron (III) contacted an organic phase containing oksin as a chelate ligand. The water phase was measured with atomic absorption Spectrophotometer. The concentration of iron (III) in the organic phase extracted was obtained from the difference between the concentration of iron (III) with the initial concentration of iron (III) which was measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometer. As the result of the research, it was found that Fe-Oksinat was extracted optimally at pH 3, the concentration of iron (III) concentration of 10 ppm and oksin 0.12 M, with a 40-minute standing time and agitation time 20 min. Fe-oksinat for benzene solvent extracted optimum pH 3, the concentration of iron (III) concentration of 10 ppm and 0.12 M. oksin with a 20-minute standing time and mixing time 10 minutes. From the comparative figures of the comparison distribution at the optimum conditions for the three solvents (chloroform, ethyl acetate and benzene), it was obtained that the best solvent for the extraction of iron (III) with oksin as a completing agent is chloroform.</p><p> </p><span>Key words : solvent extraction, organic solvents, oksin, Iron (III)</span>

<span>This study aims to determine factors influence teenage mothers were married to the mother's reproductive health disorders in Jorong Bukik Apik Nagari Padang Tarok Kabupaten Agam of West Sumatra in 2012. The research method used in population study by the survey technique, where the number of teenage mothers who were married at age totaled 35 people</span><br /><span>Based on the results of the study found that factors influencing maternal age married mother Adolescent reproductive health is the lack of knowledge of the signs of pregnancy, pregnant women are at risk, as well as the lack of check gestation. Mother's knowledge about reproductive health will be improved by providing intensive counseling to these mothers.</span><br /><br /><span>Key words: reproductive health, Jorong Bukik Apik</span>
