<p align="center"><em>The teaching of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in tradi</em><em>ti</em><em>onal ways has been much discussed. On the other hand, the use of the integration of language and Islamic values in producing a textbook remains under-practiced in the class</em><em>h</em><em>room of ESP. To fulfill the gap, this paper will address how language can be integrated with Islamic values in the ESP classroom. This study will start by discussing relevant concept of ESP such as defining ESP, principles in developing materials, and integrating Islamic values in textbooks. Secondly, it will highlight step-by-step pedagogical procedures for designing a textbook using the integration of language and Islamic values. Thirdly, it will discuss students’ work on designing textbook using the integration of language and Islamic values.Thus, the design ESP class using this way could enhance students’creativity where the students can construct their own ideas in producing textbooks. In addition to this, the design could improve students’ Islamic character.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>Muhammadiyah have been giving many contributions to the country. Such as education, health, religion, and social. Some people give a critique to Muhammadiyah which is this organization only move in Indonesia. In fact, Muhammadiyah is one of the biggest organizations in the world with Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). So, Muhammadiyah must give something to the world more than now. Therefore, since the 45<sup>th</sup> conference in Malang, East Java at 2005, Muhammadiyah made a strategically statement. It’s called core thought of second centenary. One of the points said that Muhammadiyah must make some great step to the world civilization. After that, Muhammadiyah started to create a brilliant idea to enlighten the worldwide of Islam. From 2005 until now some good decision that is from Muhammadiyah thought can be applied by Moslem world. One of them is the phenomenal idea, the Islamic global calendar. There are many interconnections between science and sharia in this case. This is a realization of step up Islam.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>Hadis merupakan segala perkataan, perbuatan, ketetapan Nabi Muhammad Saw., yang berfungsi sebagai sumberhukum Islam kedua setelah al-Qur’an. Dalam kapasitasnya sebagai sumber ajaran Islam, hadis tidak hanya berisikan hal-hal yang bersifat ibadah saja, namun lebih jauh juga ditemukan informasi sains yang terdapat dalam berbagai hadis. Salah satu informasi sains yang terdapat dalam hadis adalah tentang besi. Berbagai informasi tentang besi dapat ditemukan dalam beberapa hadis yang terdapat dalam berbagai kitab sumber asli hadis. Dengan menggunakanlangkah penelitian hadis yaitu metode takhrij al-hadis, ditemukan informasi tentang besidalamteks hadis. Diantara informasi yang ditemukan adalah tentang berkaratnya besi serta cara menghilangkan karatnya, juga ditemukan tentang manfaat besi, diantaranya sebagai bahan untuk membuat peralatan rumah tangga, sebagai alatperhiasan, dan sebagai alat pengobatan.Informasi ini diharapkan dapat menjembatani antara hadis dengan sains.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>Lesson Studythat was implemented in Economy Ecounting Department is one of the ways to enhanche the quality of the accounting teaching learning process collaboratively and sustainably. The aims of this research is to know the improvement of the accounting teaching learning process through the implementation of 4 cycles Lesson Study. This descriptive qualitative research used observation, questionnaire and interviewas research instruments in which the plan, do, see methods were implemented in each cycles.The data collected from observation such as: 1) students’ interaction during the teaching learning process that consists of ; a) students-students interaction b) students’ interaction with the teaching media, and c) students’ interaction with the lecturer model. 2) exploration toward the students’ understanding during the teaching learning process. 3) whether or not the students are able to learn well 4) the significances that can be gained from the teaching learning process, both for the lecturer model, observer, and students. The results of the research showed that the mean score of the implementation of the lesson study in the first cycle was 2.83 (good enough) , second cycle’s score was 3.33 (good) and the third cycle’s score was 3.80 (good) and there was improvement in the last cycle’s mean score that was 4,10 (good). So it can be concluded that there is improvement on the quality of the accounting teaching learning process in each cycles.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>Manusia adalah makhluk belajar, dengan segala potensinya. Belajar dan pembelajaran, kemudian harus menggerakkan semua potensi manusia itu. Justru itu, membaca dan menulis sebagai kegiatan inti dan kunci dalam proses pembelajaran, seharusnya diselaraskan sebagai keahlian peserta didik muslim. Selama ini keterampilan membaca menjadi focus yang dikampanyekan, padahal menulis juga hal yang sangat vital dan strategis dalam pandangan Al-Quran. Al-Quran dalam banyak ayat mengajarkan tentang kode etik dalam kegiatan tulis menulis, semisal; bersikap jujur, benar, bertanggaungjawab, memberi manfaat, saling menghormati, tidak menuding dan memprovokasi, dan menjadi kunci dokumentasi, tranformasi, dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>The Development of Four-D teaching model in Islamic Religion Education subject about the “Akidah Tauhid” aimed to overcome the lack of the students’ comprehension on “Akidah Tauhid” subject</em><em>. </em><em>This inovation was done by conducting teaching and learning approach oriented on problem solving using </em><em>Four-D</em><em> model that was based on group discussion. This research used research and development technique in which the action research model was applied to test the effectiveness of the model. Observation, interview, documentation and questionnaire were used as the technique of collecting the data</em><em>. </em><em>The results of the data analysis were as follows;</em><em> 1) </em><em>Teaching innovation using </em><em>Four</em><em>-</em><em>D </em><em>model can improve the learning quality and the process of the teaching and learning, after given the adequate pre-activity, the students had the readiness to the teaching materials and comprehension to the “Akidah Tauhid” subject; </em><em> 2) </em><em>The result of the first cycle showed that the mean score of the teaching learning process using </em><em>Four-D</em><em> model was</em><em>2</em><em>.</em><em>80 (</em><em>good enough</em><em>) </em><em>and the results of the second cycle was 2.90 (good enough) and the third cycle was </em><em>3</em><em>.</em><em>80 (</em><em>good</em><em>). </em><em>It can be concluded that there was improvement of the “</em><em>Akidah Tauhid</em><em>” comprehension in Islamic Religion Education using </em><em>Four-D</em><em> model</em><em>.</em></p>

<span lang="IN">Sebagai suatu disiplin keilmuan, hadis merupakan sumber ajaran yang menjelaskan prinsip kehidupan Nabi Muhammad SAW</span><span>Beliau memerintahkan kepada umatnya untuk mengembara dalam menuntut ilmu. Perjalanan suci itu bahkan sama nilainya dengan jihad di jalan Allah. Motivasi ini bukan sekedar basa-basi. Akan tetapi menjadi kekuatan umat Islam pada masa awal perkembangan sejarah Islam. Berlandaskan kepada perintah Alquran dan Hadis, umat Islam tampil sebagai masyarakat cinta ilmu. Kecintaan mereka terhadap ilmu menjadikan generasi tersebut sebagai <em>khaira ummah</em> yang sesungguhnya. Betapa tidak, masyarakat dunia dari penjuru bumi yang jauh datang belajar dan menuntut ilmu kepada mereka. Penemuan demi penemuan untuk kemaslahatan umat manusia dihasilkan oleh umat Islam. Tidak ada dikotomi ilmu pada masa itu, semua ilmu wajib dipelajari dan untuk diamalkan. Umat Islam tidak gagap menghadapi kajian ilmu-ilmu eksak dan handal dalam pengembangan ilmu-ilmu agama seperti tauhid, fikih hingga filsafat ilmu. Tokoh dan ulama bermunculan berkat integrasi ilmu, iman dan amal dalam kajian-kajian mereka. Hal inilah yang seharusnya dilakukan umat Islam, agar Islam benar-benar hadir sebagai rahmat bagi seru sekalian alam.</span>

<p align="center"><em>The study aims to evaluate the understanding of the multicultural concept in understanding multicultural education in East Lampung, namely 1) describing the form of understanding multicultural concept in understanding multicultural education in East Lampung,2) Describing the community participation in the implementation of the quality improvement program based multicultural education in East Lampung, and 3) Describing the implementation of the quality improvement program based multicultural education in East Lampung.This research is qualitative and it is classified in Micro Ethnographic research. This study design is more likely to assess and describe the analysis of smaller units, such as subgroups, organizations, companies, institutions, professions, public, teaching and learning process in schools or management decision-making process.Based on the results of research and discussion, we can conclude that; 1) understanding of cultural pluralism necessary in accordance with the dynamics and growth of the community; 2) there is some form of parental participations in education that have been implemented. 3) multicultural education is designed as closely as possible to facilitate contact between cultures in the community.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>This study wants to see the threat which caused by religious propaganda against religious tolerance. Propaganda has two forms, the first is white propaganda which is to encourage others to support the own policy or plan. Second is black propaganda which directs others to think, behave, and act in different side. White propaganda is essentially no different from advertising or promotion. While the black propaganda is to deliver information in which is inserted partially or without loading the correct facts at all with the intent to convey an idea or situation that does not exist. The freedom of expression in Denmark on the form of drawing cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad can be assumed as an intentional insults to the Prophet and infuriated Muslims. A group of people in Denmark is likely insensitive and deliberately provoke Muslim anger to seek popularity. For the Danish society, freedom of the press are rights and interests should not be defeated by anything, including religion. This article explores the study of Hadith of the Prophet shape visualizing action in the context of propaganda and religious tolerance.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>Dalam menyelesaikan persoalan kewarisan pendekatan ilmu lain tidak dapat dihindarkan, salah satunya adalah pendekatan matematika, karena ilmu ini sangat terkait dengan persoalan angka-angka. Bahkan kehadiran teori matematika modern seperti teori himpunan, parabola dan hyperbola diyakini sangat diperlukan dalam penyelesaian problematika kewarisan. Di antara persoalan krusial dalam hal kewarisan adalah persoalan bagian anak laki-laki dua kali bagian anak perempuan, apakah dalam semua kondisi atau tidak. Demikian juga persoalan bagian 2/3 dan bagian ½ bagi anak perempuan, apakah dalam kondisi tidak ada anak laki-laki atau tidak. Dalam menyikapi persoalan ini, Muhammad Syahrur sebagai seorang pemikir modern melalui pendekatan matematika telah memberikan jawaban dan penyelesaian yang berbeda dengan ulama klasik. Pendekatan matematika modern menurutnya dapat mengeliminasikan sistem ‘aul dan radd sebagai solusi kewarisan yang diterapkan ulama klasik. Karena dengan menerapkan pendekatan teori himpunan semua harta dapat dibagi tanpa berkurang dan bersisa, sehingga tidak perlu lagi menerapkan sistem ‘aul dan radd.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>Regulasi-diri (self-regulation) adalah salah satu aspek penting yang harus dimiliki setiap orang dalam mewujudkan tujuan yang lebih tinggi dalam kehidupannya. Banyak orang terkendala untuk mewujudkan cita-citanya karena tidak mampu meregulasi diri. Goleman menempatkan regulasi-diri sebagai salah satu komponen utama kecerdasan emosional.Ada banyak pengertian regulasi-diri yang dikemukakan para ahli</em><em>.</em><em> Secara umum regulasi-diri merupakanprosespenetapan tujuandan upaya memperjuangkan tujuan untuk dapat dicapai, termasuk upaya mengatasi rintangan dan tantangan yangmungkindihadapi seseorang pada saat berusahamencapai tujuan tersebut. Secara rinci, regulasi-diri diartikan sebagai daya upaya manusia untukmengelola pikiran, perasaan, dorongan, dan tindakan dalam perspektif mencapai tujuan yang lebih tinggi. Regulasi-diri bukan hanya upaya pengendalian-diri yang disadari, melainkan juga upaya-upaya tanpa sadar karena sudah menjadi habit otomatis.Regulasi-diri berbeda-bedapada setiap orang. Ada orang yang regulasi-dirinya kuat, tetapi juga ada yang lemah. Namun, sifatnya bisa ditingkatkan. Konseling adalah salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkannya. Salah satu pendekatan konseling yang sesuai untuk peningkatan regulasi-diri adalah Konseling Realitas berbasis Teori Pilihan yang diintegrasikan dengan Islam.</em></p><p align="center"><em>Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling realitas efektif untuk meningkatkan regulasi-diri siswa, meskipun </em><em>capaiannya </em><em>termasuk kategori sedang.</em></p>

<p>Manifestasi dimensi pendidikan Islam spektakuler dari kebangkitan Islam di Indonesia<br />adalah kemunculan Sekolah Islam Terpadu (SIT). SIT menjadi ikon penguatan<br />identitas Islam di ranah publik yang berhaluan pembentukan profil lulusan yang<br />menguasai ilmu keislaman dan ilmu profan. Profil ini popular dengan sebutan muslim<br />kaffah. Pemikiran tentang kurikulum terpadu (integrated curriculum) di SIT<br />menawarkan sebuah sistem yang menjanjikan bagi mereka yang mencari alternatif di<br />tengah kegagalan lembaga pendidikan dalam mengkonstruk muslim kaffah tersebut.<br />Dalam terminologi SIT, kurikulum ini dikenal dengan kurikulum non dikotomi.<br />Bangunan kurikulum ini memuat ilmu pengetahuan yang bersumber dari satu kesatuan<br />ilmu Allah. Karenanya, muatan ilmu keislaman dan profan terpadu dalam bingkai<br />kurikulum SIT sehingga mampu menampilkan profil hamba dan khalifah Allah di<br />muka bumi. Muatan kurikulum terpadu berisi mata pelajaran reguler sesuai Standar<br />Pendidikan BSNP, muatan lokal seperti bahasa Arab, bahasa Inggris, taḥfiẓ, dan<br />program pengembangan diri seperti pramuka JSIT, mentoring/ḥalaqah sebagaimana<br />ditemukan dalam realitas SIT di Sumatera Utara.</p>

<p align="center"><em>Hiruk-pikuk sekitar keserba-budayaan (</em><em>multiculturalism</em><em>) bukan sesuatu yang baru dalam tradisi pendidikan Islam, khususnya di Indonesia. Tidak ada yang perlu dirisaukan, dan bahkan diubah dalam filsafat dan paradigma pendidikan Islam yang selama ini kita yakini kebenaran dan kemuliaannya. Justru bila ada praktik pendidikan Islam yang tidak sejalan dengan kaidah keserbabudayaan, maka patut dipertanyakan ketepatan sumber nilai-nilai rujukannya. Nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terpancar dari pemahaman Islam sebagai rahmat alam semesta senantiasa membaik karena dilandasi oleh keyakinan akan kebenaran al-Qur’an dan keteladanan Sunnah Rasul. Terkait gejala keserba-budayaan yang semakin meningkat karena arus komunikasi, informasi dan migra fisik, pendidikan Islam menghadapi tantangan yang berat untuk tetap bertahan dan meningkatkan perannya. Dalam sistem pendidikan nasional, pendidikan agama mempunyai posisi yang kuat karena pendidikan agama wajib diajarkan mulai dari jenjang pendidikan terendah sampai jenjang pendidikan tertinggi. Gejala keserba-budayaan di Indonesia telah cukup memberikan gambaran bahwa untuk merumuskan sebuah pola tindakan dan pendidikan serba-budaya, pertama-tama perlu kesadaran untuk memandang dan memperlakukan orang lain seperti layaknya memperlakukan diri sendiri.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>As one of the most important components in a system of education, curriculum should be critized in relation to its perspective on the science and educational purposes. In this case, it is important to formulate a curriculum which does not separate between science and religion. This </em><em>paper</em><em> attempts to formulate the idea of integrated curriculum on the Islamic perspective which does not place science and religion on a dichotomy position.The integrated curriculum is also a solution to the various problems faced by the world of education within the wave of modernity. Besides, it proves that the teaching of Islam is a complete way of life (syumuliah) and encompasses all aspects of human life. <p align="center"><em>Language is the most important single characteristic that distinguishes human beings from other animal species</em><em>. </em><em>Human language appears to be a unique phenomenon</em><em>.</em><em>T</em><em>he ability of human to communicate </em><em>with one another in intelligent, symbolic, often abstract speech and writing is considered as a complete mystery to evolutionists. Even, they are unable to elucidate how language origanated.</em><em> The linguists, then, propose various theories on the origins of language. Unfortunately, t</em><em>here is also insufficient theory which explains not only how human speech came about, but also why there are many different languages which have been developed in the world.</em><em> In the paradigm of science-religion interconnection, such case can be connected to the exploration of verses of Qur’an which discusses human’s language. As a permanent miracle which was revealed by God the prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God upon him) during twenty-two years of Muhammad’s messengership, the Holy Qur’an profoundly speaks about human linguistic communication. </em><em>This </em><em>discusses the theory of origins of human language based on perspective of Qur’an and science. </em><em>The evidence conclusively implies that God creates humans with the unique ability in oral and written communication</em><em>, and even teach them to speak.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>Current issues in language acquisition problems always become a burning issue for linguists especially for psycholinguists and sociolinguists. The questions about how and when a language acquired by human has been answered so far but it did not give the final answer of the questions yet. It was caused by the different point of view from the linguists. Most of the linguists conducted various research by using only one perspective namely “modern theory.” Actually there are many traditional and cultural ways (which we can call perspective) which have been initiated by our ancestors but we often left them behind. Two of the perspectives are religious and local wisdom. Religious perspective has introduced us the process of language acquisition from early childhood phase until the maturity of a language acquisition. But it is seldom explored deeply by the linguists. The language acquisition process is also practiced and guided by the people who live in West Sumatera through their habit in educating their baby until they are able to speak fluently. The example of the cultural life which shows the phenomenon such as singing when feeding the baby, telling the story, doing monologue with the baby and so on. Through this theoretical construction it is expected to all linguists to conduct a research about language acquisition based on several perspectives and approaches like religion and cultural point of view. This article is expected to give a new information for language studies and to make us aware of the integration and interconnection of the field of science to answer unsolved problems especially in language studies.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>Islam meletakkan soal poligami dalam proporsinya. Islam mengakui kemungkinan terjadinya poligami, atau diisyaratkan keadaan tertentu untuk berlakunya ketentuan itu. Poligami ada sejak zaman dahulu hingga sekarang, dan diakui dalam kehidupan manusia.Islam sebagai agama rahmatanlil‘alaminmemiliki konsep poligami yang jelas. Konsep tersebut Allah jelaskan dalam kitabNya, dan ini yang menjadi landasan yuridis disyari’atkannya poligami. Undang-Undang No 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan menyatakan bahwa asas dalam perkawinan adalah monogami. Hal ini terdapat pada pasal 3 UU No. 1 Tahun 1974, yaitu: Pada asasnya dalam suatu perkawinan seorang pria hanya boleh mempunyai seorang isteri. Seorang wanita hanya boleh mempunyai seorang suami ; Pengadilan hanya dapat memberikan izin kepada seorang suami untuk beristeri lebih dari seorang apabila dikehendaki oleh pihak-pihak yang bersangkutan. Berdasarkan ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan oleh peraturan perundang-undangan, bagi seorang suami yang bermaksud menikah lagi harus mengajukan permohonan izin untuk beristeri lebih dari satu orang kepada pengadilan dengan memperlihatkan (menunjukan) surat izin dari isterinya serta mengemukakan alasan-alasan yang tepat sebagai bahan pertimbangan bagi hakim. Akan tetapi sesungguhnya hak yang diberikan Syara’ kepada penguasa adalah untuk membatasi sebahagian perbuatan-perbuatan mubah karena adanya maslahat yang lebih besar dalam situasi-situasi dan kondisi tertentu untuk sebahagian orang. Tidak boleh melarang perbuatan mubah itu secara mutlak atau selama-lamanya. Sebab, pencegahan yang terus menerus “mendekati” pengharaman yang hanya dimiliki oleh Allah SWT.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>Education plays a key role in the intellectual life of </em><em>a</em><em> nation. Teachers are the main players to improve education. In the self a teacher can show a variety of desires, the desire to remain working in the same place or relocate to a place that feels more fun or desire to move out. Two of these desires is a continuation of the relationship of compensation received by a teacher both financially and non-financially. The total compensation received by teachers if the</em><em>y</em><em> perceived inadequate then the teacher</em><em>s</em><em> will feel aggrieved, otherwise if compensation received has been as it should be then</em><em> the</em><em> teachers will feel appreciated so that later the teachers could grow a high sense of the school as an organization where he works and would willing to give time, thought and effort more than is standardized by the school. This can avoid the intentions in the hearts of the teachers to resign or out of work.</em></p>

<p align="center"><em>The national education system in Indonesia from elementary school to the university is based on the secular system that does not introduce students to the concept of God. The moral decadence among students is one of the effects of that system. Whereas in Islam, there is actually no dichotomy between public science and theology. This paper attempts to criticize the education system in Indonesia that use secular system. A brief history of secularism in science are also discussed. Integration between the Quran and science has proven the peak of world civilization, as indicated by the time of the Muawiyah and Abasiyah Empire in the 8th century. The scientific discoveries of that time was based on the truth of the Holy Qur'an. Furthermore, it is hoped from this paper that there is the discourse of change in the education system in Indonesia, from secular</em><em>-</em><em>based become Quran</em><em>-</em><em>based system.<strong></strong></em></p>
